I was more talking about how the majority of these male submissives look dead inside and are usually unattractive, along with being pathetic, as compared to the submissive women in regular BDSM, who still make an effort to look good. I'm not in any "kink" circle, but it's something i've gathered from my time on the internet and hanging out with alt university people. You don't need to be a male model to be hot, plenty of overweight/unconventional looking men are able to have sex appeal (ie: jack nicholson IMO). If i wanted to be a woman in the femdom lifestyle, I would just expect a man to be enticing and do his share, rather than be tucked away in a cuck cage while i fuck some other dude.

Most women want a man who turns them on. Maybe I'm just wired differently though.

I spent some time snooping around female-oriented forums and whenever the topic of femdom came up women always seemed to complain about the majority of the men with femdom fetishes being shlubby and a bit useless, both in-bed and out of it. The term "manchild" comes up a lot. To paraphrase, I heard a lot of people saying "men into femdom want mothers, not girlfriends"

There's a reason why there's a lack of female dominants, and not just because of social and biological reasons. It's because most don't want a lazy, non-sexy manchild. Even in media where the man takes the lead, there's still some evidence of the man being seductive and attractive to the female protagonist.

That's kind of what I meant. Women dont often stay long term with men who dont do anything for them sexually or otherwise.

I looked into BDSM mostly because of dd/lg being pretty fucked up, and read about it and the thing I read a lot of was that there were good and bad forms of it that come down to how far you are willing to take it and whether or not you make it a "lifestyle".

I guess I cant extrapolate much because Ive never experienced it, but basically "good" versions of BDSM relationships stay in the bedroom, and for femdom it isnt like porn where it's based on whipping and being there for the guy to get off--that was the thing they called "topping from the bottom". There was also a lot of what @Ceci said and women mostly opting out.

It's all fine and good if you like a woman taking the lead in the bedroom, so long as it stays in the bedroom. There are a lot of lesbian femdoms too. I've seen more lesbian ones than straight tbh. But making it a lifestyle is an excuse to by a lazy soyboy. As per anything else online these days it's an excuse to use it as a personality. Of course, 4/5 idiots online never touched another person before basing their entire existence on what they believe they'd like in bed, and being dominant is honestly one of the most mainstream ones.
