Gotta say I’m a little freaked out by his recent inability to be even remotely funny. I’m not joking when I say I’m starting to think Dax has suffered profound cognitive damage, either cumulatively (from drugs?) or perhaps an incident we’re unaware of. My opinion; drugs are what is fueling the sperg outs and arguing. Dax used to understand when to back down or dip out as a tactical retreat, but this judgement is not only gone he's gone full retard. As far as his shit takes and judgement? I think it's pure E-fame narcissism. The slow slide into thinking you need to champion your retarded beliefs, taking yourself way too seriously, surrounding yourself with sycophants and believing you can explain away their shitty behavior and convince people they are cool (and not thinking it reflects poorly on your brand).

We are also seeing this weird shift where Dax put almost 0 effort into anything he does for the show. While ranting about what makes him "a rage" has always been the format he used to remember to be funny or have some sort of funny twist on his take. Now Dax is no different from your average pundant blow hards on what makes him "an angry" except he has no real convictions other than "free speech cause Maddox lost am I right boys?" He doesn't have bits anymore, and while he never really wrote his bits he at least had to approve of them and give them a listen. He ran offer all half way decent show bookers in favor of Riley. He ran off his artists (even when they were the ones with decent merch ideas). His live shows are all handles by Diego. He encourages and show cases fan submissions so he doesn't have to do anymore work.

Should Dax do everything himself? No, the star of the show is only required to be funny and talk but he's been failing at that for a few months. But look at the state The Dick Show is currently in and how he trying to market himself. Dax is a one man machine who will MAKE things happen and actually DO while others do nothing.

He can't be bothered to pay his employees on time (if at all), he can't be bothered to write jokes for his show, he can't be bothered to write out a proper privacy policy and ToS on his word press payment processor, he can't be bothered to get bits despite knowing countless comedians, he can't be bothered handle his own customer service correctly, he can't be bothered to resend his pint glasses, he can't be bothered to put more effort into his merch than text reading "Ruth Bater Gonesberg", he can't be bothered to even confront people he talks shit about anywhere else but his approved hug boxes.

Dax isn't the man who can do anything, he's a confidence man.

I think Dax has suffered severe trauma and humiliation caused by the Jamie Lynn Hughes leaks, longtime loyal fans leaving the show and having fights with him, PPP calling him out on the Rekieta stream, Zoom doxing him and his Barbie's dream house, Jesse PS's videos about his girlfriend being a camwhore and about Dax going bald and using steroids, NP2 failing, him not being funny during his roast on the Killstream (and blaming drugs), Josh parting ways with him, his e-friends humiliating themselves constantly, etc etc etc. That's why he's coping.

He also has become extremely narcissistic, probably because of the amount of money he makes on Patreon, winning the lolsuit, his relationship with other e-celebrities and maybe the drug abuse. He literally told Jesse and PPP that he is better than them. He has an inflated sense of self importance.
