And the Royals are doing what they did with Nori Aoki and Melky Cabrera with Alex Rios and Kendrys Morales. Take a shot on a guy for a year and see how it pans out. If it doesn't work, fine. If it does, it'll be awesome.

Nice Opening Day win for the Giants, but if Matt Cain is going to be out for a while the chances of winning the division get pretty damn slim. The rest of the rotation after Bumgarner is a swirling mix of old and meh.

Good thing I decided not to go to the Brewers opening day, they got blown out 10-0 by Colorado. Besides ticket prices for Opening Day are retarded especially when you can get them for 10 bucks the very next day.

Sweeping a red-hot first place team is always nice. Especially when they are objectively evil.

The Cubs recently had a four-game winning streak, only to lose to the Pirates.

Never thought I'd see the Giants shut out L.A. for a full series again after they did it in '12, but it only took two years. That was a blast to watch, and the last game coming against Kershaw just makes it even better.

Kris Bryant is a goddamn rookie who hits baseballs as hard as we all wish we could hit Nick Bate.

So Bryce Harper is killing it.

Interesting story about him. I had a friend whose older brother played high school ball with him in Las Vegas. Bryce had a issue with his back muscles (or something to that effect) when he was a young child and had to take something similar to hgh all the way through high school. That's neat.
