It’s safe to say that Bob Chipman won’t know another moment of serenity or joy as long as he lives. That’s why this thread is so hilarious. Even if all his dreams came true, Bob would still be bitter and miserable.

Part of it may be that the election's not quite over yet. If (big, big if) Trump is right and there really was massive fraud, you're looking at unrest that'll make everything else that happened so far this year look tame. In any event, there is some uncertainty about when this will be over, so he's salty over that. But ultimately I don't think it'll make that much of a difference. Being an asshole is just Bob's nature. Ain't gonna change no matter which gang of crooks is running DC.

Still, people will just say that he's a paranoid conspiracy theorist and a salty sore loser that is asshurt at losing the election, not because there might have been massive fraud in the election and therefore the entire electoral system might be compromised and therefore, totally useless.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think the 2020 election was sketchier than Picasso's placemat. The problem is that if Trump is right, we're looking at the biggest scandal in American history by far and a total undermining of the electoral system of the kind that can presage civil war or straight up collapse. A lot of people will instinctively reject that idea, and a lot will be willing to sweep it under the rug so the fallout doesn't happen. And of course, there is the possibility that everything was on the up and up ... but if that's true, there's no reason not to do an audit, especially of any state that called a pause in the count on Election Night.

The Democratic Party lost seats in the House and the GOP may yet hold its majority in the Senate, which will render a Harris Biden presidency a lame duck on right out of the gate. Moderate Dems are not very happy with the progressive wing, namely AOC and the gang, over the former because yelling "Defund the Police" and calling for a ban on fracking. My theory:
The Chipmans believe that Biden is going to rule by executive order (a provision meant to allow the President to take immediate action during an emergency, not rule by fiat), and thus it doesn't matter who controls Congress. Yes, this is an incredibly stupid take, especially from the supposed "thinkers," but don't forget that Bob genuinely believes that the Supreme Court legislates and Congress is just for show.
Additionally, if Biden doesn't immediately begin prosecuting Trump, the Democrat Party will experience a civil war; the older ones realize their victory was pyrrhic and if they push too hard they'll be in deep shit, while the younger ones (like Bob) are howling for the heads of Trump supporters.
The Chipmans literally cannot think beyond their white trash neighborhoods, and yet they are somehow the superior humans.
