My theory:
The Chipmans believe that Biden is going to rule by executive order (a provision meant to allow the President to take immediate action during an emergency, not rule by fiat), and thus it doesn't matter who controls Congress. Yes, this is an incredibly stupid take, especially from the supposed "thinkers," but don't forget that Bob genuinely believes that the Supreme Court legislates and Congress is just for show.
Additionally, if Biden doesn't immediately begin prosecuting Trump, the Democrat Party will experience a civil war; the older ones realize their victory was pyrrhic and if they push too hard they'll be in deep shit, while the younger ones (like Bob) are howling for the heads of Trump supporters.
The Chipmans literally cannot think beyond their white trash neighborhoods, and yet they are somehow the superior humans.

The fact that AOC has gone on record about almost quitting politics "because none of the other dems would go for socialist policies" is making me laugh. The younger democrats get screwed by the older dems in power that want to maintain the balancing act as much as possible so they don't lose their base which is becoming increasingly younger and more progressive. Honestly, she should try to administer an age limit bill for senators and congress, limit the age to 50 because if you're still serving then your brain's probably rotted.

hen there are the state legislatures and governorships. From what I hear, the Dems made a dismal showing on that level during this election cycle. How is this bad for them? The states are the ones that draw up the congressional districts and states controlled by the GOP can redraw them to insure more Republican victories for the next ten years.

I also want to point that some of the governors who got elected in 2018 and up for reelection in 2022 and some of the ones in the blue state are starting to have their approval ratings tank in response to keeping everything lockdown in the name of science and saving lives. So if they don’t get their heads out of their asses, the Democrats are fucked in the governor races in 2022.

The kooky commie professors have been slowly but surely teaching students to become de facto narcissists, even if they didn't start out as clinical narcissists. They taught them not only how to behave like a spoiled Entitled Karen when shit doesn't go their way, but that such behavior is virtuous if it means righting the (real or imagined) wrongs of society. I doubt the Left planned a dry run of anything; they were just flinging shit until it stuck. Weekend at Bernie's turned out to be Weekend at Biden's.

The biggest weakness of the Moderate Dem is that they, to use a Team America term, are pussies. They don't know how to control the MovieBlobs in their party because they don't actually offer anything. All business Dems get out of it are virtue signalling, except instead of Twitter likes that don't translate into buying anything, they spent their own money to tell crazy people they're on their side. So, I have to disagree with Centrists like Sargon and Razorfist who think that the moderates will inherit the party.
