World Economic Forum Megathread (The Great Reset)

Uhh no, that's impossible, if the rich were massive leeches to society, then why does everyone keep buying their products and making them more rich? It's because their products are the best possible products currently available to humanity thanks to our capitalistic society which ensures that everything operates at optimal efficiency. America has been operating under this system for a long time, if this was such a bad system America never would have became the world's greatest country and made leaps and bounds in improving society's quality of life and technology. If you don't like the rich, just vote with your wallet and stop buying their products. Then all of their revenue streams will dry up except for the ones coming from free market tax dollars, and they'll be less rich.
Many businesses create products with your tax dollars, pressure the government to import millions of new consumers, and the government gives them welfare to consume products. Why do you think the free market has any real power?

That's not even considering the lack of a free market in medicine or academia.

Uhh no if we didn't live in a free capitalistic market then America never would have become so prosperous.

That is what America used to be, it hasn't been for a while.
We didn't start getting 'socalist' until post wwII, and it really started ramping up in the 2000s. We haven't really been a free market for at least 20 years, and its going to become less free as we start getting more 'enviromental protections' rammed down our throats.

Yes, this is why we must continue to let private companies do whatever they want. It's the only way to slow the socialism down.

One thing that confuses me is: Why bother making a video about this and then make it public for everyone to see? Either they thought this was going to be received in positive light to the audience of (mostly) middle class people with access to any type of internet connection or they are just mocking people by just telling all of us "you will live in a pod and you will like it".

The only person that would consider this in a slighty positive note would be dirt poor motherfuckers (who certainly don't have internet connections) that see this as an improvement for their lives or wealthy people detached from reality.
If you've ever watched college football, one strategy certain teams take is just running the QB option over and over again. If you have a great athlete at QB and in the backfield, you just dominate other teams. It's not creative in the least; the other team knows you're going to do it. But they can't stop it anyhow. So why not make videos about how great your team is at running the QB option? Upside is you recruit more athletic QBs and backs. No downside.

What they "want" is to stifle competition. And lo and behold, they've got it in spades this year.

If you want a vision of the future, imagine a football being spiked on a human face - forever.

Okay so I've slept since I made that post about The Simpsons Thanksgiving Of Horror, but there was someting about the main characters being turkeys slaughtered for Thanksgiving, and aliens, and I dunno man.

I think I need to stop consuming any sort of media for a while. My brain keeps making mosaics out of stuff.

Got another of Klaus Schwab’s books here. This one came out this past July, and it covers him and Thierry Malleret’s musings about the pandemic, about the social changes they’re “predicting” that will come about due to all this, et cetera.

How convenient of the NWO to just straight-up GIVE us their manuals. It’s almost like they don’t expect people to read them.
Incredibly based.

Hey, guess what I found on the internet!

Reception

This episode was nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program in 2020. However, it ultimately lost to Rick and Morty.

Both options will fail. Rate me optimistic, but I dont subscribe to the nihilistic political theories that the teeming masses will happily offer their neck for the chains. While in college I ran into this stuff. Very smart people who believed with absolute sincerity they could mathematically quantify the human soul. I was politely ignored when I argued that human behavior is more accurately described by the "infinity" symbol rather then the "Mu" symbol. My history professors also hated me for pointing out that effect does not naturally follow cause.

Our technocratic overlords think they have unlocked the secrets of the universe with their equations, and sociology and an unholy alliance of the two. They are arrogant fools. Children playing with fire confident they are in total control.
I tried telling one of my NPC buddies that Nash Equlibria and Game Theory are not accurate predictors of human behavior because people don’t use optimal strategies a hundred percent of the time, and that the last thing we need are more government stiffs telling people how to live their lives based on autistic TED talk bullshit. After him and his fellow NPCs got in a good struggle session where they whined that I was a “Social Darwinist”, the highest insult they could imagine, they all blocked me.

LOL, no skin off my back. In any case, I think I’d prefer survival of the fittest to these insufferable collectivist twats telling me what to do for the rest of my goddamn life. We’ve become a coddled and swaddled society, from top to bottom. There’s always some cunt, some bozo, some dipshit, who went to college for four years and thinks that means that they’re entitled to be your advocate and caretaker. Bureaucrats, “civil servants”, and NGO fuckheads are the actual fucking problem. Always have been. We need fewer of them.

I started reading Klaus Schwab’s COVID-19 propaganda and made it about a fifth of the way through it. First off, why is a non-epidemiologist doing epidemiology and trying to tell us exactly how the pandemic will go? He says right at the start that he’s putting all the references in the back for the sake of brevity, but that’s just a ploy, so you don’t notice how much he’s cited from valid sources and how much is his own original research. He describes what is essentially Kate Raworth’s Doughnut Economics without even naming her, for fuck’s sake.

Doughnut Economics is pretty simple. Too little growth, and you fail to meet people’s needs. Too much growth, and you destroy the environment. A related concept is Herman Daly’s idea of Uneconomic Growth. Typical green stuff. The general idea is that mankind is slam-fucking the planet to death, global warming and resource depletion are going to cause societal collapse in less than a century, et cetera, et cetera. However, now that everyone is presently consooming at the rate that they currently are, they’re unlikely to accept any policy that instructs them to consoom less (and in any case, such policies would be disastrous for an economy where the only measure of success is to be in the black every year and keep investors happy, and where business is inter-dependent on the health of the financial sector and its ability to skim off of endless growth and profiteering).

Again, I’ve argued with neolibs about this shit years and years ago. They thought it was loopy, and they basically insisted that the current arrangement of nonstop GDP growth at all costs was better, and that the environmental risks are overblown. I told people, you know, if automation is about to make labor worthless, and if the environment is about to collapse due to fossil fuel use, then we need to do away with transportation in general, telecommute more, think about sustainable agriculture, and then, we need to consider things like unconditional basic income or even abolishing the price system altogether and just rationing the products of a mostly-automated economy (due to all the unemployment from automation). I told ‘em, global warming is a problem, as are things like aquifer depletion, desertification, phosphorus depletion, peak oil, peak minerals, et cetera. We don’t really have any long-term solutions for these things, and we won’t be reacting to any of them until we’re well into crisis mode.

People didn’t want to hear it. They told me, you’re insane. You’re nuts. You’re a doomsayer. Shut up. Nanananana. “Lump of labor fallacy. Automation can’t possibly take all our jobs”. They whined that what I was proposing (vis a vis stuffing people in self-sufficient arcologies) effectively constituted the “warehousing” of humanity and the removal of any shred of agency from our species. They were correct. It was a regimented and awful existence under a totalitarian government, but also quite possibly necessary, if resource depletion and environmental degradation continued. They didn’t want to hear it. They were used to having all sorts of luxuries and didn’t like being told that their luxuries were about to be taken away, either by faceless NWO bureaucrats acting on information that they’ve concealed from the public, or by inevitable environmental collapse.

And now, those faceless NWO bureaucrats are attempting to actually make these ideas into reality, just bluffing their way into it and hoping people don’t notice the implications.

Over the years, I have fallen out of love with these ideas, simply because I see the incredible harm they can cause. Ted Kaczynski was right. Humans are being left behind. Our technology is outpacing us. Our civilization is more advanced than our minds and bodies permit. Think about the rat race. Think about the stress it puts on people’s minds, working long hours without any breaks, being pulled in fifteen different directions with all these little obligations, all these little responsibilities, and long and stressful commutes on top of that. Is it even human, at this point? You basically need to be a cyborg to withstand this.

That’s what the powers-that-be are going for, too. Transhumanism is the next step. Not for anything cool, like making you actually superhuman or extending your lifespan or anything fun like that. They want to be able to pacify people at the push of a button. They want to blend medicine and sociology and wave a magic wand and make all your stress from living in intolerable conditions disappear. George Orwell was wrong, and Aldous Huxley was right. In a way, we are already crude cyborgs. When we desire our dopamine hit, we grab our dopamine rectangle and check our likes and retweets. The NWO want to skip the rectangle and just jam pleasure hormones right into your head so you don’t question what they’re doing all that much.

How much further will we stray from the ability of our bodies to adapt? Our technological progress has outpaced our evolution by orders of magnitude. We are anatomically almost indistinguishable from how we were 5000 years ago, when we were still having oxen drag plows through fields and beating each other in the heads with big rocks. You ever sit down and wonder why you have all that residual tension, all those little aches and pains that you have to banish with an Ibuprofen? That’s modernity. That’s the burden of modernity on your shoulders. Mental health issues are rising. Fertility is collapsing. Our culture is growing weak and insipid, and everyone’s verbal intelligence seems to decline year after year. What in the hell have we been doing to ourselves, if not self-inflicted torture?

Meanwhile, a tiny, tiny class of parasites at the very tip-top has skimmed wealth off of this orgy of industrialized growth. They’ve used that wealth to fund non-profits and NGOs that are actively trying to shape the way the rest of us are allowed to live, and then, they have the nerve to gaslight us and tell us we’re mad when we try and point out what they’re doing and why it’s totalitarian nonsense.

Look at how many articles there are about how the “Great Reset” is a conspiracy theory, right next to articles that describe the Great Reset and what it will entail in terms of actual policy. They think we’re fucking stupid. They think we’re all knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing morons, and that words cease to have meaning unless one of their fucking apparatchiks is around to tell us what they mean.

We need transparency. We need these fuckers to tell people, in all honesty, exactly what they’re fucking planning to do, and what they’re planning needs to be judged in the court of public opinion. Of course, they don’t want to do that. They know you’ll refuse. They know you’ll hate being told that you can’t own property anymore and everything is part of an on-demand commons. Instead of owning a car, you’ll phone up a driverless taxi. Instead of owning a house, you’ll share a pod in New York Communal Beehive #3477 with Pajeet.

Meanwhile, what are the rich planning to do? They’re planning to take their wealth and engage in seasteading, in international waters, where the Jeffrey Epsteins of the world can do cocaine and fuck your teenage daughter to their heart’s content. You will live in a pod. They will live in Rapture from fucking BioShock, surrounded by legions of drones and private armies. And even though you know this, you won’t be able to do anything about it, because the nanotech inside your head will tell you, gee, it’s fine, I’m a serf anyway, I don’t deserve anything better than being a soulless drone and living in a pod.

The worst part about all of this is that people think I’m joking. I told people this would happen. I told people, damn near a decade ago, that Techno-Feudalism was coming. Democracies would slowly erode. Corporate power would increase. Look at our social media companies. They censor our fucking politicians. They back activist groups that undermine social unity. These fuckers want to make you into literal serfs and take away any say you have in how you are governed. That’s not an exaggeration. What they are proposing is serfdom.

When I was a kid, the Left fought against the IMF and the World Bank. Now, the crust punks who used to spray ”fuck the NWO” in alleys are kneeling and sucking the NWO’s dick. It’s getting tiresome. When will people wake the fuck up?

You are usually massively autistic, but this time I don't think you are entirely off base. I will point out though that they are not even being secretive about what they want. They are telling us what they plan to do to our faces, and are laying the necessary social pressures to imply that if we don't agree with what they want then we are bad people. Literally just like the Nazis. The weaponization of empathy is the true hallmark of the modern era. When you ask any person, from the NPC Bug man in Portland to the hardcore Neo-Nazi in a compound in Idaho and say "Don't you think we should leave a better world for future generations"? Without fail everyone will agree.

The issue becomes what exactly a better world is, and in the minds of the technocratic oligarchs they know what it needs to be, and if you don't agree, well, you are a problem. Why don't YOU want a better world? Now that Trump is almost out of the way, they are going to come after the 70 million people who voted for him. The only question is whether or not those 70 million people will bend the knee.

People joke about cuckbarrels, but if we take Brave New World to its logical conclusion, then it is entirely possible to make a person feel very satisfied to live neck-deep in a literal septic tank.

Think about what that means. Think about what it means when we’re drugging ourselves with SSRIs just to feel normal. Just to tolerate the intolerable. What about tomorrow’s medical intervention, or the one after that? The entire measure by which we judge the effects of our economy is whether or not it meets our desires and supplies a certain degree of hedonic relief. If we start changing ourselves to tolerate our world rather than changing our world to be tolerable to our natures, then at some point, the economy will not matter.

If the goal was merely to banish a certain degree of suffering, then eventually, we come to a point where humans live brief, extremely blissful lives in MDMA-laced nutrient vats for about five years before being recycled. If we go down that road, then there is no limit to how far we can take it.

I’m sure this all sounds very immoral to you, but to the nihilists and psychopaths dreaming up our futures, it really is just a difference in aesthetics. They don’t want to feed poor, starving children because they actually care about them. They want to feed poor, starving children because poor, starving children are unsightly, like a painting left askance on the wall, and there is nothing more offensive to an OCD autist like Klaus Schwab than for something to interfere with his Feng Shui.

The technocratic oligarchs have intentionally propagandized against individualism, against civil liberties, and against the very foundational values of American society. Your idea of civil liberties is their idea of oppression, colonialism, and parochialism.

You want to be able to choose health insurance for yourself? Too bad. You’re taking away someone else’s single-payer gubmint-subsidized healthcare that they could have instead. Don’t you know that only white people can afford healthcare in the US, because only white people get all the good jobs? You must be racist. See how easy that was? Just a few leaps of logic, and I can make a rather innocuous political view—wanting to choose one’s own healthcare plan—seem utterly unconscionable and intrinsically tied to racism.

Now, imagine a bunch of NGOs, college professors, and prancing activist asshats pushing these ideas for decades, until a country is so polarized that it’s on the verge of civil war. They poured the gasoline on the pile of leaves. All it would take is for some asshole to come along with a lit newspaper. These fuckers want America to collapse, because America is the last bastion of everything that they despise.

I mean, did I fucking call it, or what? Years and years ago, when we deposed Gaddafi during the Arab Spring, invoking the “Responsibility to Protect”, I asked a bunch of neolibs if they thought Richard Nixon should’ve been treated the same way, given that he was President during the Kent State Massacre, or if a UN/EU coalition should have invaded the US over Waco or Ruby Ridge. They didn’t even have a shred of recognition. It went in one ear and out the other.

Now, these fuckers are using the same color revolution tactics in the US. The same exact ones they used in Libya, in Egypt, in Ukraine, in Serbia. Nobody thought it could happen in the US. They thought they were insulated from shit like this.

They were dead wrong.

Aaaand we are back to being massively autistic. Good job being coherent for about 5 minutes though.

you just reminded me of Harrison Bergeron, it's a neat little short story they had us read in high school.
I think that's one of the futures they have in store for us, and I've been paranoid since I read that story when I noticed SJW stuff back then lol.
Aaaand we are back to being massively autistic. Good job being coherent for about 5 minutes though.
Just because it's autistic doesn't mean it's wrong.

Israel just assassinated Iran's chief nuclear scientist. People are speculating that the US government is going to destroy the power grid and then blame Iran. That combined with Schwab's promise of a cyber pandemic that would make Covid seem minor this past July is very worrying.

If this were to happen, and it were permanent, it would be the end of civilization; chaos and starvation would ensue. The only survivors being self-sufficient rural dwellers. Matt Bracken believes this is what Biden was actually referring to when he said Dark Winter. Plus if they do this in winter many simply are going to end up getting wiped out because they have no heat and will succumb if they already have health issues.
