Fucking tragic, dude. I remember when he was on top of the world, with his exposing videos on Billy Mitchell and Todd Rogers. But then, he started to fall off with that R White Goose video and the Dark Viper stuff. Then, he had lost his lawsuit to Billy Mitchell. He was a hero at first, but then he made so many mistakes, so many enemies, that he was just cornered and had nowhere else to go.

I'll remember the guy as the one who exposed two cheaters in speedrunning and vanished from youtube. This poor man thought he could bury himself in the drama and handle it, much like Keemstar or Trump (he even called himself the Keemstar of speedrunning), but it just became all too much for him.

Looking over DarkViper's video and the comments section, it seems most people are concluding that DV was wrongly targeted by Apollo in his suicide note and it was a bad move on Apollo's part to namedrop DV.

I don't think there's going to be any more backstabbing or flame warring or drama. I think Apollo took himself out completely and gave everyone easy stories to wash their hands of the business. Personal wise, I'm sure this is going to give Ezscape and DV some headaches and feelings of guilt but that will probably pass with time since the majority seem to be supporting them

This is pretty pathetic from my view. Even in Legend's last moments he tried to get back at the dramafags and only ended up potentially making them look better and noble. The icing on the cake would be Viper or EZ starting a charity in Apollo's name which would completely demolish Legend from beyond the grave.

It's the comments section of his video. The people watching it are DV's subscribers, and I'm sure opinion will change if anyone calls him out. I swear, if the spedrunners let this potential drama warhead fizzle, I'm gonna be pissed.

Speedrunning is an interesting hobby completely anchored by mental illness and an inability to remain stable. Apollo Legend's videos were fun to watch and he existed as a vocal and relatively palatable public voice against GDQ. Other people have said it in the thread, but hopefully there will be some blowback from his death that'll hit some of the worst speedrunners given the protection provided to them by dilation, back-stabbing, and Mike Uyama's biannual shitshow with social shrapnel. Speedrunning is the ultimate kiwi buffet outside of incels.

No dark viper did not owe that editor anything, he didn't use the tik tok highlight that the editor made which he didn't get paid for, he said in the video that he invited the editor to tell him any tik tok highlights he wasn't paid for so viper could take them down. I think the social issues he faced were a lot worse than the physical ones, but conditions like scoliosis work great as leverage to bring someone to a place where they're willing to become a little twinkling star in the sky. When life is just shit, why kill yourself? But when it's shit and you're in pain *and* you'll have to go to the hospital again soon?

It's the curvature of one's spine due to inactive and being overweight. If one gets their weight under control and exercises, the symptoms go away. This is why scoliosis screening is done in public schools to catch it early. It's easier to get children to make lifestyle choices than adults.
