Fallout series

So, having started up the Legion playthrough, I think I see what the discongruity is. Much of the early events of The Frontier are based on the assumption that the Courier is already a fucking legend, with the Legion playthrough inserting the Courier into the NCR as a Frumentarii operative, with things going off the rails for reasons that aren't really clear if you don't have the foreknowledge of an NCR playthrough. The problem with this is that it means these events only make sense if they take place before the Courier openly declares for Caesar (i.e. before failing Don't Tread on the Bear), but that also leaves a very small window wherein the Courier could have the reputation that everyone keeps mentioning. And since it would have been an absolute dick move to lock the entire mod behind not becoming vilified with the NCR, they chose to let the "wait, this doesn't make any fucking sense" that comes with a late-game Legion Courier.

They've also started blaming an old developer for how shitty the NCR campaign is.

So they admit it's magical realm, then. Not a smart move.
Also: >implying making somebody strap live explosives to their neck is a "kink"

Huh. I'll have to play more than just the NCR before I decide to call bullshit on that or not. Hopefully they just start eating each other like baby sharks, and there will be enough gibs left over that we can piece together what actually happened.

EDIT: Actually, scratch that, I'm ready to call bullshit now. Here's a 5-year old interview featuring Devilswish and friends that claims the project was already 2 years old by the time he came onboard.

Oh, please, they could have at least done the glownigger, that would have actually fit.

AWOP had notes about how immortal dimension hopping millenials knew they were in a video game and had full transcripts for a fictional sitcom featuring the guy's OCs. Even if that wasn't in it had more spelling and grammar mistakes than a fourth grade essay.

It was cool having a bunch of extra places to explore but the lore was so bad it would be better modded out entirely.
Thankfully I was able to insulate myself from that by having a strict policy of never reading anything in any game ever.

I mean it's also literally stated in the interview that devilswish's role is only making the technical shit work, meanwhile you got Jack as creative lead with an obvious lisp and Andrew who has worked on no other project and is the writer

If devilswish left it has to be because he saw the trainwreck incoming as Jack and Andrew unleashed their autism

Fallout: the frontier sort of proves that the infinte monkey theorem is bullshit. These retarded monkeys had infinite time, an infinite amount of assets, infinite access to FPS games and action movies and an infinite amount of people willing to help them (for free) , and they still didn't manage to create something cohesive.

Here you can see a grown man throwing a tantrum because people don’t like his writing. I was a little iffy about people a-logging this mod, but I think this guy needs to be ripped limb from limb with no mercy.

I’ve noticed a trend with big mods like these; it always assumes the courier is a famous badass and is the center of the world. The Courier was only ever important because House needed someone to get the Chip and he was the closest guy. Everyone’s fascination with the Courier stems from House taking a shine to him, and even then the dick-sucking is always limited to “you’re the most able guy, if it works out we share the glory, if you fuck up it’s on you”. Ulysses was the only character who really did the ego-boosting shit. The courier is just some guy, stop writing stories where he’s an ubermensch.

It's funny how he both tries to blame someone else for the writing, and simultaneously defend the writing, like which is it?

Who exactly on the team is this phobos guy? Seems to be an absolute faggot

The Courier was just supposed to be some nobody who was dragged into all this crap. Trying to act as if he or she was some kind of uberemensch misses the point of the story entirely.
