General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

If steam edition then why does the description say PS5?
She play worldwide ver. off PS5, case closed. Because the Asian region before this being locked only for Japan.

Edit : Anyway Zombos try to infect Nene to play Apex, I don't know Nene play Apex too.

Since most of them have finished Undertale when are the I Wanna Be The Guy streams? I want to see who are the real MLG™ Gamerz.

I do wonder why Kiara is being singled out. One would think weird shit going on with the channel like Coco's bug infestation or Haachama using horni fanart as thumbnails would have the Google puritans going for their throat (even if YouTube still makes bank off their superchats; i don't have to state the obvious).

I know just chalking stuff up to "The Algorithm" is the norm, but those still follow basic orders, if it comes after you, you did something that at some point, YouTube believed is a "no-no", the question is how does she find out so she can fix it?
This is purely speculation, but it's probably because of the move. Suddenly there's streams coming in from the other side of the Earth, so algorithm thinks, "let's softly fuck the channel in case of haxx."

Ina is definitely clippable even if she isn't bombastic. She's genuinely funny and that's what most people tend to go for. She's not exactly a deadpan comic but she's definitely someone who in a gathering of mixed company will not talk much, but if she does talk will no doubt say something really fucking funny. Ina's first streams with Call of Cthulhu had her making "step on me queen" jokes and I still remember that months later.
Ina has grown into probably my favorite of the EN crew, but it really is just a first among equals to me (they all have a certain genre I like at different times). Her CoC playthrough made me member her 20 minutes into it after I could member; her comedy is really low-key but ingratiating, and it works surprisingly well in collabs. Her burn toward Calli during that scuffed Lethal League stream was mint. Overall just a chill, and talented girl you should throw money at. And anyone whose voice has the ability to break my insomnia is instantly getting my dollars monthly for therapeutic purposes.
now back to playing the real game.
Woah, she's playing the Dub. I'd rather have English Subs but I'll take what I can get. (I'm guessing because she's played it in Japanese before.)
That surprised me too actually. Someone mentioned it is is part of the promotion? However, it is actually a really good idea for Coco if she is trying to branch out her audience. Personally, I play it in Dub, but that is because I love some of the goofiness that the Dub offers. I switch between the two for certain parts and especially the karaoke. But for growing the audience, pure Japanese would be pretty hard to follow for extended periods of time.

Now a casual or possibly new EN viewer could watch the game, understanding, while enjoying her Japanglish commentary. It is similar to why I love Fubuki Marvel Watchalongs; I understand the movie but it makes the reactions stick better in my head. It helps appease both audiences (and maybe even some JP are curious to how our Dub sounds; that curiosity is how most get into EN subbed anime on the other side of the mirror).
(CCP drones were spamming earlier, but have mostly given up now)
Watching them get nuked after 15 seconds made me happy at a spiritual level.

The second is deliberately leaving out how Gura has stuck exclusively to EN collabs since that one time she absolutely did not have fun and got bullied (Did another writeup on this as a thread highlight. Tldr some of her fans/antis posing as her fans threw a tantraum across twitter, yt comments, etc. This fact in of itself can also be interpreted a variety of ways).
Wait, you're saying she doesn't collab with her senpai because she's afraid of being "bullied"? Or because she's afraid of her fans harassing the other person?

In any case, both seem unlikely imo, I think the more likely reason is just the language barrier and the difference in time zones, along the fact that, as you said, she's probably been busy working on her songs.

Regarding it being a nothingburger, that’s all antiposting is, blowing up something insignificant to an absurd degree/ignore context/leave out shit in order to have something to hate. Also, it’s incredibly easy to twist facts into supporting a narrative of your choosing.
Exactly!

And TBH, that's a very legit reason to avoid collabs for a while once you realize your most ardent viewers/fanbase NEED TO BE QUARANTINED so
they don't make a mess in the streams/social media of whoever she's collabing with.

Gura only has 36% of her subs watching her live vs Pekora who has 37% of subs
That's such a stupid argument too. Out of curiosity, I checked their Playboard stats just now and even though their gap on Average Video Views for their subs is even bigger now (34.5% for Pekora vs 24.7% for Gura). guess what? While 34.5% for Pekora is 445,386, Gura's 24.7% is 568,270.

Kiara mentioned that she's been shadowbanned even while she was still in Japan. She and her chat did a fair bit of speculating in one of her recent streams after the move and they were going through possible reasons such as her having a pre-chat, to possibly topics in her pre-chat people were talking about, her posting subsequent several community polls that could've tagged her as spam to even the mere fact that the word "shadowban" is being mentioned in her stream.

Part of Nene's birthday merch is a NenePro employee ID card which includes your husband number. :story:

Miko's birthday coming up in a few days as well. Feels like the birthdays have been rapid-fire the past weeks. And looks like that'll continue till Anya's birthday when we get a little breather before Suisei. I'm really tempted depending on what Miko's merch is to pick it up though, or at the very least an item if not the whole set. Have they stopped doing the limited hand-signed cards btw? It's been awhile since I've seen them.

I'm also not sure if it's been mentioned, but Watame revealed that there's another festival called V-carnival coming up with a few V-tubers. Out of Hololive Korone, Okayu, Suisei, Mio, Fubuki, Watame, Sora, and Towa will be performing.

It's a bit too rich for my blood, 7900 yen for a single day or 15800 yen for both. But I guess if you're a DD it's a pretty good value. They're also heavily emphasizing "Augmented Reality" but no clue what they mean. Maybe something like them on a real stage instead of a screen like Fes.

I get it. Rushia reached 1m. It's a big milestone and you're excited.
Doesn't make it okay to go to Marine's chat and be a sperg demanding she acknowledge it when she's doing something completely different. Some even started with "I know this is against the rule but". If you know it's the rule then don't do it.
They're genmates and they're close, Marine will have time to congratulate Rushia eventually, publicly or privately.

Edit: Rushia is calling in. Now is the correct time for chat to go crazy.
