Humans form stronger bonds than any other creature and I think that's the biggest part of it, besides monogamy just being healthier in general. People want someone they can get attached to and be with. Polygamy or open relationships cut out that idea of "you're mine, I'm yours" that I think is a natural emotional thing we seek. We desire mutual affection.

And just for clarity's sake, my point was that it's MGTOWs that most consistently the claim that "that some number of women use men as a disposable means of advancement", not that "most groups included in what is considered the manosphere argue about bias in child custody." It would be pretty cool if you actually discussed what I brought up, rather than having whatever fantasy conversation you've been having. The easiest way to do so would be to find me some other group saying something like "that some number of women use men as a disposable means of advancement."
