Yeah, culpable negligence, do I have to keep posting the statute?
And culpable negligence, as in that statute, is a much higher standard than the level of negligence that applies in a civil case. It is an actual mens rea, not just mere carelessness. It requires an actual criminal state of mind.

Which expert to believe guys? I stocked up on cigarettes after yesterday's witness
Pretty sure that some states have a rule that whoever's power level is higher is automatically the winner in any disagreements which is why a lot of career expert witnesses collect degrees and certifications like candy. No idea about Minnesota though.

It has to be so beyond the realm of what any normal person would do, so reckless that he should known it would have caused death, how is he supposed to know this is a lifelong scumbag drug addicted criminal with an enlarged heart, adrenaline secreting tumor, bad lungs and sickle trait who was on so many drugs he forgot to breef? Called Miss Cleo for advice on subduing Floyd? Nigga please.

Also this is what happens when you are kind and considerate with these bums.
This video is yet another example of why women should not be police officers (in the capacity where they are going hands-on with suspects, anyway). Hearing some shrill woman screaming, "Put your hands on the steering wheel!" doesn't really have the same effect as a man's booming command. I think most men's instinctual reaction to said screeching is agitation and anger, possibly reminding them of whatever harpy holds their leash irl.

Unless said woman is large (not fat, but tall and big-boned), has exceptional strength from working out regularly, and can do a wicked Phil Anselmo guttoral yell, she needs to be behind a desk somewhere.

they're seething sneeding

I couldn't be a cop I'd whip out that telescoping baton so fast he wouldn't realize it until he's getting his broken bones set in the er.

Not sure why Nelson is focusing on the strangulation area, this seems like a bad line of questioning, maybe something will come of it.

I don't think the question of if he was strangled by neck compression actually matters that much.
You talk like a fag and your shit's all retarded.

How did he die of I can't breef then?

The diaphragm is down below the lungs, about halfway between your belly button and your nipples. They gonna say Chauvin depressed St. Floyd's diaphragm by kneeling on where the shoulder meets the neck? They gonna say Chauvin depressed St. Floyd's lungs by kneeling on where the shoulder meets the neck? Maybe the very top of Floyd's left lung, the right lung wouldn't be affected at all and 90% of the left lung wouldn't either. If it wasn't the neck (trachea) it wasn't anything.

This is called reasonable doubt.

Its just a weird targeting of questioning from Nelson on this cross imo. This angle, the earlier asking about stuff out of the guy's expertise.

y-you too.
