Claimed legal name jessica simpson yet his flat is in the name of jessica jonathan yaniv. Is this legal or somehow a method of scamming credit/background checks etc?

Wouldn't surprise me. He's as honest as a three-dollar bill.Claimed legal name jessica simpson yet his flat is in the name of jessica jonathan yaniv. Is this legal or somehow a method of scamming credit/background checks etc?
His legal name before Jessica Serenity Simpson was Jessica Jonathan Yaniv, IIRC, so it probably hasn't been updated on that yet.Claimed legal name jessica simpson yet his flat is in the name of jessica jonathan yaniv. Is this legal or somehow a method of scamming credit/background checks etc?

Yeah, it's legal, since people's names do change sometimes for legitimate (i.e. non-evasive) reasons. A woman who owns real property on her own and then gets married, for instance -- her legal name changes but although her property is deeded to her original name, she still legally owns the property. In fact I don't think there's even a need (in legal terms) to ever change the name on the deed.Claimed legal name jessica simpson yet his flat is in the name of jessica jonathan yaniv. I just find it strange that he's changed his name on his birth certificate, passport, and I'd imagine his driving licence etc yet something as important as owning property is skipped on by. I don't know the Canadian credit check system so just wondered if this was another way of him trying to scam/con the system in some way.Yeah, it's legal, since people's names do change sometimes for legitimate (i.e. non-evasive) reasons. Having said that, it's definitely also used to scam for credit and foil background checks. It usually doesn't work -- it relies entirely on credit bureaus and background checking companies screwing up and not tracking the name change -- but occasionally it does.
In Yaniv's case, he did it to shed the permanently awful reputation associated with his real name. He changed it to "Jessica Simpson" specifically because that's also the name of a pop star, so searching for him by his new name won't lead to sites like this that document his shitty behavior, but rather the usual staple of vapid articles about pop culture. With "deadnaming" being such a verboten practice, there aren't many articles that mention both his real name and his vanity name, so he's mostly invisible on the search engines.

I’ll buy you all the pillowcases & bars of soap you needI'm in real trouble this time guys! A morbidly obese pedophile is suing my building. How do I start a gofundme?
Edit: For the record too when a lawyer comes to read this thread I never said "Jessica I'm going to kill you" his name is Johnathan.
Just a bowl of kiwi fruitsHave any of Yanny's recent suits borne fruit for him? Any at all?
me & you bothHonestly, I'm surprised he hasn't been murdered yet.
I think yaniv has somehow forgotten he's suing Langley RCMP for unprofessionalism yet trusts this inept organisation to take charge of videos. Logic lost on me I'm afraid.- An order that video surveillance from May 1&2 2021 be supplied to Langley RCMP immediately
What happened those days that has fatty so concerned?
What makes Yaniv think that he's entitled to a list of all other residents at the Strata?
Edit: aside from his obviously massive sense of entitlement

I'd guess something involving @WGkitty.What happened those days that has fatty so concerned?

I would hope that someone somewhere asks yaniv why he wants/needs information on his fellow tenants. I feel it's WGkitty/Langley Resident/Twitter related but I would like to hear his lying reasons on a legal document. Some interesting and relevant documents/legislation:
So at best, fatty could get a list of names, unit numbers, and addresses. However - there's still this bit from the previous doc (page 14):
Some interesting and relevant documents/legislation:
From the first doc (page 13):
It is important to note that PIPA does not give an individual the right to requestand receive someone else’s personal information unless that other individualprovides written authorization for that access. In addition, PIPA does not providea right of general access to the strata corporation’s records.
...so fatty has no inherent right, under PIPA (BC's privacy legislation) to personal information. On page 14 of the same doc, it's noted that fatty can request some information:
A strata corporation must comply with a request for records under s. 35 of SPA withintwo weeks of receipt of the request, unless the request is for the strata corporationbylaws or rules, in which case it has only one week to comply.
Section 35 of the Strata Properties Act (SPA) states (in part):
35 (1) The strata corporation must prepare all of the following records:(a) minutes of annual and special general meetings and council meetings, including the results of any votes;(b) a list of council members;(c) a list of(i) owners, with their strata lot addresses, mailing addresses if different, strata lot numbers as shown on the strata plan, parking stall and storage locker numbers, if any, and unit entitlements,(ii) names and addresses of mortgagees who have filed a Mortgagee's Request for Notification under section 60,(iii) names of tenants, and(iv) assignments of voting or other rights by landlords to tenants under sections 147 and 148;
So at best, fatty could get a list of names, unit numbers, and addresses. However - there's still this bit from the previous doc (page 14):
Under SPA, an owner or tenant is not entitled to receive any information relating toa lawsuit in which they are a party with an interest contrary to the strata corporation’s.In that case, the strata corporation is authorized, pursuant to s. 169(1)(b) of SPA, not toprovide that owner or tenant with information or documents relating to the lawsuit, including any legal opinions kept by the strata corporation under s. 35(2)(h) of SPA.
I don't know if that can provide cover for the strata in this case, but it will be interesting to read any legal decision on this case.
It is really unlikely a small claims court could compel the strata to do anything. For most things in small claims court CANNOT compel action, only set restitution., plus there is a special tribunal set up for these disputes which is NOT small claims court, so this will most likely be dismissed. It is completely filed in the wrong venue.
Unfortunately, he's probably going to get between 1000-9000 from each party on the town of langley lawsuit, as the Judge did not disimss the case and it is cheaper to settle for less than 10G than go to trial, pay experts, witnesses, court appearances for motions/hearings etc so it is more cost effective for the municipality/agency.
ETA the reason he added more parties is because he knows this.
