Can someone fill me in on the Zimmerman trial? I seen it mention several times.

A spic manlet named Zimmerman got too big for his neighborhood watch britches and chased some hoodrat named Trayvon out of a gated community. When he kept following him, Trayvon chimped out and started beating the absolute shit out of Zimmerman to the point where it was actually a threat to his life. Zimmerman was packing, and shot Trayvon to save his own life, and then every news media outlet went on a complete screed about how this awful white supremacist hunted down this poor innocent black child and murdered him in cold blood. Once the jury saw the hospital photos of zimmerman, an acquittal based on self defense was pretty much in the bag.

To add to the responses you already got Zimmerman wasn't even initially charged until proto-BLM got involved and raised up a media circus about it. The garbage fire that is American race politics today was resparked from that case.

Even though every other cop watched him do it and saw it was fine, and Nelson went into great detail about how the positions Floyd was in were perfectly fine, and the hold was taught in training?

Zimmerman had good lawyers and the prosecution had bad/neutral witnesses.

Zims lawyers did good cross and the witnessess fell apart, one of them perjured herself by being anti zimzam on facebook.

Yhen zim got off.

Zimzam also shot a nog who was literally in the process of smashing his face into the pavement and had visible bloody injuries the night of the event.

Him being prosecuted at all was even more of a show trial than this. At least the optics of Chauvin putting a knee to the neck of Floyd look bad, the only criticism of Zimmerman is that he was too overzealous as a neighborhood watchman when he proved that the criminal he was following was a violent asshole who jumped him.
