if he's guilty of manslaughter, they'll say he should've gotten 3rd degree murder and riot. if he's guilty of 3rd or 2nd, they'll say he should've gotten 1st and riot. if he's guilty of 1st degree murder, they'll say he should have gotten the death penalty and riot. if he gets the death penalty, then they'll say he should be executed tomorrow instead of years from now and riot.
Again, these kind of situations are meant to solicit further escalation to cause another one like it. It's a cycle, when the inevitable riots break out, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume we'll have another Floyd/Trayvon/Blake situation and BLM will try to milk it.

Only difference is, joggers aren't going to be useful again until 2024, so results may vary.

Just to think that this bitch is a congressperson from the great state of Commifornia. This bitch can ram through laws just like she was trying to fuck over Chauvin.
Nancy Pelosi, Eric Swalwell, Adam Schiff, Ted Lieu, Katie Hill, Karen Bass and many other cunts and dicks from the great Nu Californian Empire.

1980s and 1990s California gave America all these lot. It was a mistake.

Not watched the rebuttal yet
This is important.

But Nelsons closing statement fucking smashed it. IMO, acquittal should happen so full send it is but we all know fee fees hold weight so I guess we wait and ree see sneed

It was good, but he made a major tactical error in saying (repeatedly) that the prosecution needed to show beyond a reasonable doubt that none of the other factors (drugs in his system, age and chronic health conditions, etc.) contributed to his death, and that otherwise they were supposed to vote not guilty, and then spending a major part of his closing statement trying to argue why they hadn't shown an absence of contributing factors.

And indeed, the prosecution did fail to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that there were no other factors contributing to his death, at least in my opinion. The problem is, that's not what the law actually says. The law only requires that the prosecution show *Chauvin's* actions had "significantly contributed" to Chauvin's death.

The prosecutor made pointing out this error a major part of his rebuttal, stating that the state only needed to establish that Chauvin's actions were a "significant contributor". He then encouraged the jury to consult with the guidance they would be given, or to ask the judge, to confirm that he was correct, which I think made him seem more credible, and undermined Nelson's closing statements.

It’s times like these I’m glad I’m out of college with my degree.

>being surprised that glowies target Portland anarchist circles
Backwater Oregon and Norcal residents almost universally hate the feds but color me surprised champagne socialists don’t know about glowies. There’s even a video game about it. View attachment 2101414
These leftists don’t seem like the type to have known about Terry A. Davis.

This bitch can evidently also go to other people's states and demand their homes and businesses be burned to the ground and their people beaten to death in the streets without repercussion.
Hmm, from a democrat's standpoint, states do not exist, its all America as one.

I have noticed a lot of democrats, even from rural areas, vote like as if they from San Francisco.

Plus that shithole up in Minnesota could probably vote in Maxine assuming the latinos manage to run the niggers out of Los Angeles completely.

wasnt there a drive by inwhich a cop and national guardsman took some rounds coming a them?
Yeah if you go back -35/30 min they talk about it and some other incidents. Some genius got arrested attacking a police car with rocks. One starts talking about something that happened this morning involving two DNR squad cars but the Sheriff cuts him off.

If the guy is convicted of the lesser manslaughter charge what is the min sentence in MN?
Mandatory minimum sentences in general are slowly disappearing across the country, which IMO is a good thing, because for every crime you can find a case that technically meets the criteria but that has mitigating factors that should weigh in a defendant's favor.

I don't think Minnesota has a mandatory minimum for involuntary manslaughter. Chauvin's presumptive sentence is something like 4 years, with a maximum of 10. However, prosecution is seeking an aggravated sentence, so I would guess even if it was just the involuntary manslaughter charge he would get at least 7.

Let's be honest, if Chauvin got put in for a month, he'd probably be dead within the first few days.

My question is, why the hell would you WANT to be an 80 year old congressperson?

I mean, quite frankly why would you want to be a 40 year old congressperson, but that's a separate question.

For power? I mean, I understand that explanation, but at 80? Isn't it time to retire and enjoy a peaceful life by then? These old hags are living on pure hatred and spite at this point.

So will there be riots if he gets manslaughter? Because that feels like the most likely verdict right now.

There will be riots literally no matter what. They didn't buy a bunch of Molotov cocktails and riot gear to not use them.
