I tend to avoid his streams unless he's talking about Russ or there's something else particularly interesting to me, which is rare. The constant interruptions with the terrible superchats and all the weeb animu talk is just annoying. His topic videos are better, but even then I take his commentary with a giant grain of salt. I lost a lot of respect for him when he covered Teddy Spaghetti's quixotic fight against Patreon like it was a noble quest against big tech and not what it really was: another grifter throwing his cultish fanbois to the wolves for clout.

He used to be somewhat better, and would stay on point for longer than a minute. Ignoring chat except for specific chat breaks. Now he's pretty much unwatchable. Pay the Lawyer Monkey $1 to say something moronic on camera.

I enjoy him. I think the reason people don't like him is that they come onto his stream where the primary concern has always (well, at least since the change about two years ago) been chat interaction, and are suprised and annoyed when he interacts with the chat. Well, that, and while kiwifarmers will spend days debating on every spore on Russ' genitals, they don't really know how to press this button:

I've said this before, Nick is not for everyone. If you don't like this format, you won't like his show. If you still want the factual bits of it, either hope he makes a shorter video about it, or PM me and I will edit out the interruptions.

It's not so much what was discussed, it was the fact the discussion happened. On one side you have a punctual legal professional having a civil discussion, on the other a dirty idiot gimp comes in late. It speaks to the character of each party.

if you're talking about the latest Russ suit, it hasn't been thrown out. They haven't ruled on anything substantial yet. The most recent document that basically called him a creep was the defendant's reply. The court did refuse to hear oral arguments but that's just because it would be a useless waste of time.
