The project itself is well done and pretty much complete but the retards behind it are dramawhores somewhat
They are modders what did you expect , all of em all spergs to some degree , at least how the mod works doesn't leave itself open to much fuckin up
It runs stable 41% of 50% of the time, and thats before you slap mods on top of it. And I wouldn't be surprised if they started making it paid patreon releases or some other dumb shit.

Honestly if something that drastic was put in it would be piss easy to just data mine it in the GECK tools created for modding the game itself, things ingame can be hidden by scripts and shit but the raw texture files are pretty easy to find within the mods, unless they are packed, in that case you just unpack em

It's not exactly the same - the NCR is receiving over 90% of the power generated from the dam, so it's a pretty critical asset for them.
I do get some keks at their expense when people ask the same 20 bug related questions again and again without bothering to Google it first.
A lot of that IMO is the fact that they didn’t have a lot of time. I felt like the ncr got the most attention by developers because it’s the faction most tied to the first two fallout games which they made. I’d argue that the Legion isn’t doing so hot either because they’re moving a lot of their forces from Denver to Las Vegas and you even have an opportunity to convince Cesars right hand man that they are stretched too thin as well. IMO the legion is eventually going to rip itself apart into smaller kingdoms much like the kingdom of Alexander the Great.
That, and if the Dam is lost, the Legion can invade California next. So it's more than just a critical asset-it's the doorstop of the NCR.
There's also a sense of creator's pet going on with them. The NCR Veteran Ranger is at the front of the box of the game, aside from Yes-Man, they're the most obvious "good guy" faction in the game, and Obsidian got their missions done first before they ran out of time.
And God only knows how long it would take before the law starts intervening personally. They already intervened with that whole EA BATTLEFRONT 2/gambling thing, modders passing around CP would definitely give Uncle Sam another excuse to expand and intervene on things like this.
And I'm also betting on more bestiality and foot-fetish stuff.
They really did feel like the favored faction. I wish the legion was fleshed out more… and Yes Man too.

The Legion was supposed to be more fleshed out, but I suppose Obsidian was too busy finishing every sidequest for the NCR before they could flesh out the Legion. But they could easily have released a comic, novel, or a guide that would have fleshed out the faction.
I think it’s plausible but it has to be a smaller scale and I’d argue smaller team. Even large projects hypothetically could be carried out with the right leadership. A lot of young and inexperienced people start out with too broad of a scope. Projects that invite everybody in seem to be very likely to go off the rails whereas if it’s just a couple people doing everything except for the voices it’s less likely to go astray.
Nah, Bethesda made them release early to meet projections. They also didn't teach them how to use the engine properly if I remember right... anyways, Obsidian always gets shafted by publishers. Always.
But as I said, they could have released a book or a comic later on that fleshed out the Legion. They did have comics for New Vegas, after all.
