Years ago crazy wh*te women would tattoo bite marks and worship Ted Bundy, why? I don’t know.

Dream has somehow, intentionally or unintentionally, manifested an army of wh*te women to a caliber never seen before. Not even Shabbatai Zevi could conjure up a diaspora to Dream’s stan army. I am astonished how easily he has leveraged them to be his bodyguards.

Either way it’s going to be fun seeing this die out on him or blow back on his face when they all get tired of him.

Dream's been rather quiet, his last post on either of his twitter accounts was 19 hours ago so chances are he's laying low after that disaster of a chimpout. I'd place my bets on him scripting recording a new manhunt video to take some attention off of it.

This hits the nail right on the head. I got into Dream's channel around late 2019-early 2020, up until the SMP
I genuinely cannot understand the appeal of the Dream SMP, it's just garbage roleplay. If you take a look at the roleplay there's so many plot holes it's clear that they barely plan anything about besides if it will be "funny" or "sad", it's the most surface level shit. These people can barely act as it is, but asking them to act out a story on the fly just makes some of the worst streams I have ever seen in a while. There's not even anything else to it like the interesting megabuilds of Hermitcraft or the gamebreaking stuff of Scicraft or some shit like that.

Not to mention that you need to be deep in the fandom to understand what the fuck is going on in the first place, while great for the stans it just turns off outsiders having to keep up with shit like "Canon Lives" and the stupid L'manberg story, if anything I'd say Karl is the closest to making it a good idea with his standalone story streams, but even they require some outside information.

I've always viewed the Dream SMP and surrounding stuff as very much targeted towards kids with how bombastic it all is and how obvious the loose scripting is. I didn't watch any of it until the initial cheating claims as minecraft youtubers aren't my thing. When I finally checked them out after having realized they had been in my sidebar recommendations for a year or so, I was convinced it's 99% kids watching that stuff due to all the yelling, fake dramatic scenarios, etc.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, getting millions of views from kids for Minecraft videos like that is a tale as old as Minecraft, but it seems a lot of people think it's authentic gameplay for some reason and Dream and co. seem hesitant to just say "We ham it up for the cam" or "We try to make it a point to do a few cool things here and there" or ANYTHING to indicate it isn't just authentic speedrunner showing up his friends in autism-game.

They actually do this sometimes, but it's interspersed between all the shitty roleplay and on streams unrelated to the Dream SMP, and the only reason I know this is due to all the content channel clip farms made for the Dream SMP.

I would agree that it's for kids, but the thing is that the "story" is way too fucking convoluted to be understood by anyone but stans, due the fact that you have to check a fanmade wiki or google doc to understand what the hell is going on. There's a constant problem of dragging on story arcs, like the L'manburg arc being dragged on for almost a year, and now Dream's character is in prison or some shit, but supposedly "in canon" he's still inviting people to the SMP from the prison. The inconsistent rules around death don't really make sense either, like sure you have the "Canon Lives" bullshit, Wilbur's character dies and becomes a ghost or some shit, but then when Tommy's character dies he's in some black void?

It's really autistic and I don't know how anyone outside of the 14-16 year old stan demographic is supposed to keep up with this shit. You've gotta keep up with all these different perspectives of the same events to get the aftermath of certain events since there's not one central stream that shows multiple povs or something like that, it's literally a way to just keep the stans watching as much Dream SMP as possible. Props to Dream for figuring out the ultimate content farm I guess, it's no wonder they're all shooting up in popularity when you have to watch nearly every single streamer to understand what the fuck is going on.

Nah it’s not just white women. Wish it was for the memes though

Except his standalone story streams are awkward and fucking boring as shit. Trying to make minecraft roleplay all serious & cinematic is definitely the wrong way to go. All it does is highlight how goofy this all is. In fact, the most entertainment I've ever managed to get out of that server is back in november when technoblade fucked around and just blew everything up. This was also back when they weren't trying to make it anything more than what it was; people dicking around on a minecraft smp. Checking back in to see karl and quackity trying to make it into a movie/tv show was incredibly cringe-inducing, especially because (as you said) they don't know how to act, or direct/write a coherent story for that matter. Also, in quackity's case, listening to his lines makes it painfully obvious that english isn't his first language.

Oh I definitely agree. What I meant with Karl's streams was moreso the idea of a standalone story in a stream that anyone can jump into, sort of like Technoblade blowing shit up. Other than that Karl and Quackity trying to make it all cinematic is fucking stupid and gay. I can imagine many would be down for a goofy story in a minecraft stream that they need no prior knowledge for, and it sounds like it'd be easier to allow their chemistry to flow that way compared to the fucking war betrayal serious shit the SMP is doing now.

What is odd is that some people seem to be buying this obvious flat out lie my Dream about his cheating. Its so obviously an attempt to yet again blame someone else and take no responsibility.

As a side note, Dunkey is a huge fucking hypocrite who does a lot of the same manipulative stuff as dream. But even he clearly hit the mark with Dream.

Anyone who even believes Dream for a single second might be mentally retarded. Which does account for his entire stan-filled fanbase.

"Chat mod"? What the hell? As someone who has (unfortunately) watched quite a lot of Dream's videos, I have never seen him once use a "chat mod".

He may be referring to the proximity chat mod the Hermits have been using for a hot minute, since he mentioned it's a fabric-based thing. That's all I can assume, I don't watch his stuff outside of whenever Techno encountered him.

Hold on, a Mojang Dev weighed in on this?
According to him, I remember initially, he spoke to someone in Mojang, maybe not necessarily a dev but I wouldn't know.
The way he framed it was wrong, so of course the dev agreed with his preconceived conclusion. Depends on what kind of dev, if it was some trooned out community manager high on hormone pills, then who knows.

Either way, their opinion means fuck all. I've met plenty of programmers who can't do basic trigonometry. I'm not gonna consider their opinions on high school probability theories.

The video screencaps were literal frame by frame differences. There is no way in hell that Dream would have been able to, in the matter of HALF a frame, press 2, and 3.

Here's my recording going frame by frame up until the splice, going back and forth, and then forward on. The hesitation makes no sense. if you're gonna make such a mistake in half a frame (which you can't) then why stop midway as if you're confused? Dream has definitely been a bad actor in the sense of he can't act, so it's kind of obvious this was him trying to be like "whoa whut"
Gonna disagree here, it's completely possible. There's plenty tricks that are frame perfect. Dream's still a cheating faggot though.

Nope, he and his groupies use discord in every single video to my knowledge, since it's not based on proximity.

I've looked up summaries on the whole "story" of the Dream SMP, and I can see it working the best as a loose goofy roleplay/improv thing that no one takes too seriously. REEEE-ing child trying to get back his discs after griefing the server? Interesting. Buncha guys in a drug van trying not to get arrested and their stuff destroyed and eventually 'seceding' from the server? Kind of a funny concept. JSchlatt entering the server, hamming it up, being elected president, and immediately becoming a cartoon villain tyrant? Pulled off pretty well. Technoblade just wrecking shit up? Fun, even without context.

At the end of it, it's some autistic roleplay-ing in a kid's block game, but it's rather harmless and stupid fun (like DnD, I suppose). When Dream and Co. realized that "Hey this whole storylines and shit brings in viewers to everyone's livestreams rather than just building stuff" is when they brought in these loose scripts and really dedicated acting, which is just goofy at best, and cringeworthy at worst. But hey, the teen fans lap it up because it's probably the closest thing to theatre they're gonna get while holed up in their homes.
