I know this cat doesn't match with these cats but it's 2017 vs 2010.

PL'ing here but wtf.

He had Sertraline (zoloft), Remeron (mirtazipine), Anafranil, Escitalopram (lexapro), and that Guanfacine.

I've overdosed on Zoloft, I've overdosed on Remeron, I've overdosed on Lexapro.

But not at the same time. Just for kicks really. Like taken a whole strip (30 tablets) when you find out a few weeks later this shit doesn't work at all (it does for some people so don't take this as medical advice).

I also saved my buddy's life after him od'ing on Anafranil. But he also took a couple of strips and drank a six pack of tenents super and he was ok a couple of days later. Took him to emergency, waited all night for him to wake up. More the booze really.

I will say some of them make you feel shitty ill for a few days, and maybe I'm lucky I didn't get serotonin syndrome, but seeing as those things take days like 4-6 weeks to build up your serotonin, I don't think there's much chance of them doing it overnight. Might be wrong.

Some drugs are contra-indicated for causing SS, like any one of them with food supplements like Tryptophan or Tramadol with Remeron even. Having said that, I took a shit load (full strip) of both Tramadol and Remeron at once (over a nightly period) and I've never felt so fucking fabulous...

No idea about Guanfacine - that might be the one to push you over the edge.

Was that his stash? Did he take it all in one?

If I was going to hang myself, and I have thought about it, I would want to be lucid and on the fucking ball, because that is one trick you don't want to mess up. Near was a clever guy - pretty sure if he wanted out he would not use the double method of drugs to dull your senses.

As I understand it, hanging with drug od is not as common as drug od with alcohol od. Most people who hang themselves are lucid. You need shit set up and you need to be good to go. People who blow their brains out with a double-barelled shotgun might get all het up in the heat of the moment when they are drunk, but hanging, no, on the whole, it's mostly men that do it, and it's mostly very forethought out before hand.

Near's little threat was an empty threat in every regard.

I'm not saying if he necked all those pills that he wouldn't have had SS or his liver pack up a week or two later (same as with Paracetamol or Acetaminophen I think you call it in the states). A lot of those SSRI's are metabolized by liver and whatnot, but it's not the same thing really. Paracetamol is a very very safe drug, that is very very dirty in OD. It basically shreds your liver like a cheese grater. Don't fucking do it.

THIS IS A PSA:
DO NOT OVERDOSE ON PARACETAMOL OR ACETAMINOPHEN. It will take you a week or more to die and no one will be able to help you. You won't get put out of your misery unless you live in The Netherlands. And every single doctor/nurse/relative will be haunted by your screams until the day they die.

Then again, just like Near, maybe that is what you want.

One final thing. I took most of those drugs back to my chemist to be disposed of. I wasn't stupid enough to do the whole lot in one go.

And as for the Codeine. One of my faves and one I get enough of to kill me twice over every month. Another no go. Some people have natural tolerance via their inbuilt genetic enzymes. Same way some people can get drunk on a pint, I can take massive amounts of opiods, not because I'm strong, but because my body is built that way. I get drunk easy though.

The point is, you really really have to work out how all this affects you. And no one really can at the end of the day if this is novel to you. Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics are an absolute minefield that no one really understands except maybe the finest minds on planet earth, involved with ongoing research.

Near new this. Others have said this in this thread. I just backed it up a bit (take it with a grain of salt). No fucking way he would take pills and neck himself. One or the other.

All those pills were for show. All easily available. None of them very deadly. Probably not even in combination (don't try this at home).

Make of this what you will.

Being mentally ill and repeatedly overdosing on antidepressants isn't very sigma, bro.

This line is argumentation is so fucking pozzed. Holowka is exactly as responsible for the decision to take his own life as any dead cow people try to blame on this website. Zoe isn't magically responsible for his decisions because she's a two-faced psycho grifter who everyone hates. She's responsible for her shitty actions, but unless she physically held a gun to the man's head, he's responsible for his. If you're going to argue on principle, commit to the principle and don't double-back on it to own the libs. This is Twitter-tier garbage.
theres a MILES WIDE FUCKING CHASM between directly bothering someone or slandering them as cvv did to alex, and merely talking about them in your own little corner of the internet.

Hell byuu is on fucking record here of not being all that bothered by his thread. The endgame of this stupid mindset of yours is giving people veto power over any conversation they are the subject of.

Yes I understand what your hypocritical argument is, thank you. It's still a bad, hypocritical argument.

Also I love that I specifically said "it's always this bullshit" immediately before a demonstration of that exact bullshit. Grow a principle.
I think there's a difference too in that we are just sharing shit these people posted themself for the most part. She is using private and unverifiable information to damage his reputation publically.
That being said, I agree, she is only responsible for her own actions.

The problem goes deeper. The problem is that they blindly trust sources without any evaluation of the source material. They literally operate by the rule that if it was written by something institutional they trust, its by definition true. There is also no qualitative evaluation of the source at the publication. Material produced by staff reporters at a magazine is equal to the unedited clickbait published by bloggers on the publication website.

But the reality is even worse than that. Wikipedia operates by mob rule. If you have numbers and the right friends on your side, literally anything can become a fact. What you eventually find out is that there are really no rules at all there. And if you try to use the written rules to defend yourself, that itself is against the rules and will get you kicked off the site.
Wikipedia only wants people to know what they want them to know. It's completely synonymous with controlled media in North Korea.

Yeah, great for general reference stuff but what is effectively pop culture warfare I.E. Gamergate? Don't even bother trying to use Wikipedia - the talk history on the Kiwi Farms article is hilarious though as even there people are pointing out how fucking stupid it is that the article is getting loaded with information that isn't verified by Wikipedia's own standards.

"Exposing the hypocrisy" by being a hypocrite. It's always "noooo I'm just pointing out their hypocrisy but actually Zoe Quinn really responsible for this and nobody will acknowledge it 😔"

Even if I accept that stupidity for the sake of argumentation, it's not even a good argument. The wokie moral code absolutely distinguishes between outing a rapist and shit-talking a troon. It's like when retarded atheists try to argue the bible to bible-thumpers without even understanding theology well enough to make a coherent point. You're not owning anyone.
Nevermind then, please kill yourself.

They've also locked the page so people can't remove the unverified information (except for mods and extended confirmed users). Wikipedia is a joke for stuff like pop culture. There's a reason no other encyclopedia does it or covers internet drama. I get that the community contributes but you'd think mods would clean up stuff like that.

Holy shit that talk page is a shitshow. We've got people including mods claiming that someone saying that Japan has strict privacy laws is original research and can't be included, but Macran's unconfirmed call to the police is A-OK.

Skipping a bunch of stuff again. Time for another recap, please.

The story so far to the extent that we know it?
Corrections please if necessary, including which of these are likely but not yet certain.
Anything important I missed?

1) Not dead.
2) Not Japan.
3) Ohio.
4) David Ginder.
5) Diaper fur.
6) Looking to zap one particular piece of information but didn't want to call attention to it (possibly #5).

So, according to this autsimo sperg talk - Can I technically pay some rando who claims to be a Wikipedia editor to make a tweet saying "Wikipedia user GorillaWarfare has AIDS and is currently dying from it after having forceful sex with an 11-year-old African child." in a medium article and it would be considered a valid source?

Because, if so, that's pretty cool.
