This ended up happening in the sense that tertiary content about vtubers is less likely to end up recommended. Youtubers like nuxtaku, koefficient and herohei have mostly moved on.

He seemed like he was enjoying it when he was doing the songs before. People started shipping him with Fubuki which made him pretty uncomfortable as a married man. Good to see him doing it again. His play along of Reflect was awesome.

The Ninjisanji En girls have been fun. Not independent, but not Hololive. Pomu gets mentioned in this thread the most.

She is currently streaming

One of the thread favorites is Pippa. A little crazy but fun. Also not technically independent,, but when a corp has 3 people it may as well be

Nene Amano is nice. Very sweet and quiet. Same as Pippa, not Indi but very small corp.

Pochi is the mama for Renie but streams as well. She does great drawing streams and does Japanese meme lessons (usually older stuff since she is older as well)

Kana is very sweet and recently went totally independent.

I feel like Pikamee's a pretty good safe pick for most people. Goofy and upbeat, self translates a lot, tea kettle laughs. Not an indie though.

Abigail Dovely is adorkable too, although whether you have issues with the religious bits or anything would be up to you. She isn't like jehova's witnessing or anything, but these days a lot of people get all hissy sensitive over that stuff instead of just chilling for the ride as she does her thing. She's mostly twitch, but does pop vods up on youtube if you're fine with that.

Also fully recommend Flappybats list drop.

If you end up liking Pochi, I think Nabi-mama is pretty safe bet too. Amusingly enough the "Milf moms" are probably two of the most precious vtubers I've seen in the scene lol

I'm really going to miss Kiara's Yakuza streams it was great fun seeing her react to a modern soap opera at its best.
Especially since I don't remember any other game making her crush on guys nearly as much.

I'm sorry but that is just wrong. She literally did more to benefit the EN server than Ame.

I'm ambivalent about Kana, I like her model and content, but the fact that she banned the word "Trap" on her discord is quite telling of her character, it reminds me too much of nyanners.
