Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Russia it is then
They already went with Russia in the immediate aftermath of the Vietnam War and it was one of the factors why the Chinese invasion in 1979 didn't escalate into an outright occupation of Vietnam. As it turns out Russia lost the will and ability to maintain its sphere of influence after the Cold War ended.

Right now Russia's focus in the post-Yeltsin/Putin period has been to consolidate its influence in in its immediate near abroad so as to ensure that it has strategic depth and security. Kind of not unlike the Soviet Union's position immediately after the revolution/civil war.

We're slowly seeing a transition into renewed expansionism. It won't be official until after Belarus is annexed, but it's happening.

That basically the history of Russia's border security in it’s entirety, and why they have a long stretch of landmass.

I honestly don't see any kind of Belarussian "Anschluss" happening in the near future - it would be too much of a provocation which the U.S. and the EU would immediately move against.
Against the Baltics definitely, but with Belarus I can see the most happening being lukewarm condemnations if America unipolar foreign influence is going to recede greatly in the wake of the Afghan debacle.

They used their ninja blade missile for this, it can go through concrete and doesn't use explosives

That's true. but things may change. Russians like to play the long game.

I was watching this live this morning on fox and my husband and I both laughed at how he handled the question. Especially him turning around exposing that bald head we are all so used to by now and just standing there lol. What a mess

Its Saint Michael the Archangel. If you were Catholic you'd understand.

Im a born Roman catholic but ive only recently started to expand my knowledge of catholic tradition beyond simply going to mass. Learning that a lot of things I took for granted are debated to hell and back everywhere.
