This but unironically correct. I believe it relates to midwit theory; dichotomies are ridiculous when you have the mental capacity to detect nuance but not to fully see it through to its logical conclusion, but in a simple or advanced enough mind, things become quite straightforward. This is going to come across as a retarded analogy largely oversimplifying what has happened with Reddit's decision to ban /r/NNN and the aftermath as a result but that is fine because for whatever reason I keep coming back to this. What I really can't help but take away from how this has all transpired is that it's more or less served as a perfect example showing how these same Redditors clamoring for more censorship can not and will not ever be satisfied. That will never actually happen.

Just look at the literal sitewide response to the decision to ban the sub, which was their stated goal they've been relentlessly plotting the entire time. It's gone, banned, donezo, and they're still furious. They'll say it's because Reddit's reason for banning it was "brigading" or whatever, but everyone whose saying that knows it's a lie and that it's simply Reddit's way of covering their own ass after Spez's post last week. It's been wild to watch all of this unfold in real time. Perhaps there are some out there who feel smug satisfaction but to find those posts would take forever as you scroll endlessly past the thousands of comments expressing discontent at Reddit's reason for the ban. These faggots desperately need an enemy to feel righteous resisting against or it's like their entire ideology just falls apart.
