Ah. 1.16 modding seems to have a smoother experience for the most part.1.12.2
Have tried spicing up your game in anyway? Modding, personal challenges that kind of stuff.I used to love it as a kid but now I can barely play it for more than 30 minutes without getting bored.
It's fun with friends but like, anything is fun with friends
Modding helps but I just find the core gameplay of Minecraft boring after a while.Ah. 1.16 modding seems to have a smoother experience for the most part.

Ah. Hopefully the next update helps spice the game up for you.Modding helps but I just find the core gameplay of Minecraft boring after a while.
Oh shit that's exciting. Thanks for sharing!Double posting to let you all know that the first official snapshot for 1.18 is finally out
Terraria and Minecraft go for two different styles. Terraria focuses on being more of an action RPG with some minor sandbox elements, while Minecraft goes for being just a minimalist sandbox. What I don't like about Minecraft is the lack of content.
Terraria 1.1 adds 4 new bosses and 100 new blocks.
Minecraft 1.1 adds desert.
Modded Minecraft has two solid mods designed to add more biomes to the game and a bunch of additional blocks. Modded Minecraft adds a TON of great stuff whether you're wanting to transform the game into an RPG or techy kind of thing or just make base Minecraft better. What I don't like about Minecraft is the lack of content.

Same, got to love those long loading times. 1.12 might have a lot of mods to choose from but it's a bit clunky in some ways, especially from a modpack standpoint. The only thing standing in 1.16's way is its selection of mods.1.12.2
1.16's modding scene may not be as wide as 1.12's, but I've been loving what I've seen. Ars Nouveau is a pretty fun magic mod that gives you magika-level experimentation with the spells and Create is an amazing tech mod.Same, got to love those long loading times. 1.12 might have a lot of mods to choose from but it's a bit clunky in some ways, especially from a modpack standpoint. What I thought of when I heard you could bring it to the surface:Alright guys, it's that time of the year again where Mojang do their yearly community vote for content that gets added to the game.
For those of you who don't care about the contents of the actual vote, the brief and lasting period of autism that the community spawns from this is a sight to see. Just go ahead and look at the comments on the mob vote tweet on the Minecraft Twitter account.
As for those who do care about the mob vote content, they released their video featuring the first choice called the glare:
From what is told: it's basically a light level indicator that informs you of when areas are dark enough for mob spawning. You can also have it as a pet if you bring it with you to surface (not quite sure about that one)?
Me and my kids find we have to mod the shit out of the game in order for it to be fun. At that point there's little reason to playI used to love it as a kid but now I can barely play it for more than 30 minutes without getting bored.

I remember when Mojang said they would never do this. I guess feature creep will be a thing eventually in non-modded to keep players interested. I don't know why, they still have two years before we see a beta of HyTaleSecond mob video was dropped:
TL;DW: The Allay is a mob that, if you give it an item, will go out and pick up the same or similar copies of that item and brings back to you or put on top of the note block that attracted it (note: the items have to be dropped items you find on the floor).
Also, they're attracted to music and that's probably how you'll be able to meet one.
They still didn't. This seems to be a common misconception, but it brings you dropped items of the same type. It doesn't duplicate items for you (assuming you believe it's duplicating items). This article helps provide a bit more info outside of the dev's twitter post: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/mob-vote-2021-allayI remember when Mojang said they would never do this. Not talking about duplicating items. Mojang never wanted anything to be automated. They still didn't. This seems to be a common misconception, but it brings you dropped items of the same type. Also, Mojang isn't worried about Hytale (they're supporting them much like games like Terraria). Hytale, at best, will have a community like Terraria's.
If mojang didn't want anything to automated then they wouldn't have implemented redstone and its related items in the first place. Hell, it's still possible to create mob and iron farms. Not talking about duplicating items. Mojang never wanted anything to be automated.
Should I mention what Mojang did to Minecraft servers when people were making money off of them? Mojang is owned by Microsoft. They don't support anything that isn't theirs.
