I see the recent "friendly truth" hasn't chipped away at Chris' overweening ego any. He assumes that if only someone at Lego notices his "amazing creation" they will reward him and declare him King of Legos or something.
I have no doubt that at least
someone at Lego has noticed Chris', for lack of a better word, "work", and have doubtless come to the obvious conclusion their company needs to distance itself as much as possible from the manbaby. Chris does not make for successful advertising (well, maybe if you're advertising abortions).

Ohhh i finally get it, the only reason why he uploaded and spammed his ex-highschool classmates with that video is because he wanted them to vote for him, so he can win the contest... you really haven't changed chris, you really haven't...
I think you've sussed it. I figured the new video after such a long absence
had to be because Chris wanted something. I was assuming it was because Chris wanted to drum up support again for his reunion plans and did it in his usual vague fumbling voodoo manner. But now I think you've worked out the truth: Chris' objective is much more direct (and banal). He just wants to win a contest. For children.

I noticed that his jeans are starting to look pretty ragged.
Well, to be fair my own pants look even more ragged. Of course that's because I work in them.

Loving a lot of those kids' contest entries. That snail is so simple, but such a great example of creativity - taking pieces designed for one thing and repurposing them in a way that still makes perfect sense.
Where the elephant is impressive, I think the snail is elegant in its simplicity.
Also some child out there with less than two dozen small pieces managed to utterly shame Chris' "over thirty hours of work" and $500+ in materials.
