If he was a good liar, people wouldn't've been speculating that there were ulterior motives to the CT trip, which everyone did. Being able to tell people, 'I'm going somewhere and I don't know when, but it'll be around this date,' isn't exactly difficult to just push when you can filter what questions you field from the sole way you interact with people. People asked why he's leaving in the last week of 'tax fundraising season', and he'd say shit along the lines of the last week not being useful to make payments, even though you can typically pay tax shit up to 45 days late with no penalty, so all of April would have been 'useful' to him. He'd constantly switch up his story about the state of his parents and exaggerate it, all while telling us that his father still works full-time.

And 10 years of this says he doesn't even have to be a particularly good at it to keep on swinging. He's only "good" in the sense that he inundates a specific section of the audience with such a heavy flow of verbal diarrhoea when at his most manic (generally outside the sphere of any actual gaming) that he can misdirect and at times confuse not only a slice of the group but also I reckon loses track of himself as well and gets mindfucked. This is the very reason the DSP lahndscape has reached the point where it is now; where we have a whole bunch of people clipping and transcribing so many little mundane details that sound like and often are revisions or plain as day exaggerations.

You just have to remember how long he's been doing this and how much khantent has actually been lost over the years coupled wih the fact that he did have a grace period on youtube where everything he said wasn't run over quite as thoroughly with a fine tooth comb as it is today. I was there at the start and there certainly wasn't a supergroup of experts reading his every move.. he may not have ever got out of the starting gate if there had been. I mean he's still and always will be Mr Evo 4th place but you know what I'm getting at.

You also clearly have some percentage of people who are not really looking for problems with DSP. So many play both sides and almost everyone is welcome to do so. Others however are either willfully ignorant, a bit slow or so slow they're incapable of catching much of anything at all - the last clearly being his most preferred delicacy.

DSP from the very opening line of his "success" was arguably still a fair weather con that I doubt even he believed was going to last more than 10 years of his real ahdult laif. He said in the good ol' days he had no desire to do this forever and whether there was ever any hint of truth in that is up in the air as well. So falling in line with absolutely everything he says. He may not be the best liar but he's definitely a consistently inconsistent one.

There are obvious lies and there are his own delusions and then there's the toll of talking so much shit on a daily basis just to present the illusion to the audience that he's alive and interesting and worth saving that it's no real surprise some of what comes out his own pie hole he can't recall five minutes after he goes off the air. He doesn't seem to care either. He's well aware people are picking up on all his crud and he's given up on trying to find any sort of way to finesse it and change their minds. The most obvious way would be.. stop being a conman prick and stop asking for handouts from people who don't function all too well in reality. There's no real finessing Darksydephil because deep down I'm sure he realizes he is in fact just human waste.. but he's the grandaddy of let's plays and should be on top of the world so he feels entitled to ripping people off while the getting's still good. Considering how abysmal his content actually is the getting is still really good.

I haven't said anything at all on here about his marriage and doubt I'll bother to add anything much on it.. but I will say that for the first time in a long time I honestly think the shit he's spun with it seems to actually be a cross section of lies hitting him a lot harder than he anticipated. As usual all his own life achievements that he lusts after and needs to tally up on whip around behind him and fuck him square in the ass. He truly is his own worst enemy. Of course I don't expect any of the exodus to leave him an altogether stuck and drained piggy but he does seem to be taking a bit of a pasting when it comes offerings lately. Summer is upon and gaming to my eye rarely looks terribly hot at this time of year.. it's going to be interesting to see how much he squirms while behind the scenes nobodies gnaw away at his mind.
