US 2022 Midterm - Election Spergery for all things local, Senate, House, governors, and everything in-between.

Lots of discussions for the 2022 midterm going around. In a year and a month and a half, we all get to decide who will fuck us in the ass less. The Donkeys (Democrats) or the Elephants (Republicans).

I'm going to put up a more informative post later, but all I will say now is that I think there's a 50/50 chance of either party getting the House. I expect Democrats to keep the Senate, for now that is. No idea what opportunities there are for Republicans to win governor races where Democrats currently hold position of power.

I have to say, I wasn't expecting to see this thread until we reached 2022 proper, but I'm also not terribly surprised.
We've just watched the California recall that went widely in favor of Newsom pass and that may have implications for the midterm. Plus among conservative (which are really moderates) circles, many are already confident they will take the House. I don't share in that confidence, though I will say this is a very good opportunity for Texas GOP to take one a congressional district of one of the most historically Democratic areas in the country (Vincent Gonzalez Jr. only won the seat by 2.9 points in 2020 compared to 10.9 points two years prior).

Watching black conservative reactions to it, they are not shocked that Larry lost hard and accept the results of it as legitimate. However a thing to note is that Larry basically nuked his competitors while entering in late and ran like as if he was running for Governor of Arizona. Basically either Republicans stand up for what their base wants, or they can lose like cunts and be cowered by the kikes at the ADL and the Jew York Times and Washington Post. I don't have much faith in a red wave for 2022, the base wanted out of Afghanistan with a proper exit, the retards on TV like Fox and in DC believe we should have never left and also import all those cowards while to their credit, they also believe in bringing back American citizens left over there.

This is the rare "early and gay" post.

It really does not matter one way or the other, though. Democrats and Republicans are both in favor of mass immigration, both in favor of continuous wars, both in favor of taxing American citizens to pay out foreign aid to half the fucking world.
Look we found a samer!

People ludicrously dedicated to either the Donkey or the Elephant will seethe with rage every time you say it though, because, quite frankly, they just don't want it to be true.

I've got no hard feelings about people wanting to discuss the upcoming midterms this early, especially in light of California's recall.

Do you have any opinions about how the recent influx of refugees from other states will impact the Texas midterms?

Edit: I ask because I was just reading this article about that very topic.

I hope Republicans win in 2022 just to make Democrats upset, but I also hope Democrats win the Presidency in 2024 because it's funny watching America burn.
America doesn't need help burning, thank you very much.
Biden won’t make it to 2022
And America's first woman president will be an unelected charisma black hole that nobody likes.

Texas is fucked. They've been talking about painting it blue for years but it sadly might happen. America is becoming a one party state whether you like it or not.

I am become rainbows, but I think Abbott and Cruz are probably pretty safe.

Watch New York and Virginia. They have "nonpartisan redistricting commissions" after Va. voted for it last year, and it's been a clownshow watching them come up with 20 horrible maps. One Dem on Virginia's commission realized he was going to be drawn out and drew himself back in.

I have little hope for the west coast and the western USA (the place I lived my whole life). Even Arizona might flip from purple to blue because fortifications (not as bad as Texas, but AZ has way more new people moving in than local reds). Only Utah and maybe some of the sparsely populated states up north will stay red…

Also, first page post on this upcoming informative thread!

It's a practical certainty that the GOP will retake the house in the 2022 mid-terms at this point. Biden has fucked up hard, and the president's party tends to lose the house in the first mid-term after the election anyway. The real question is what will happen with the senate.

Doesn't matter who wins... cos nothing ever changes. John Q public still hasn't figured that out and never will.

I really hope Joe Kent does well in WA but i figure it's a long shot..but he's cool AF, cute AF, and a local so I feel like he has a shot.
