The SJW mods routinely shit it up themselves, deliberately let garbage hang around (like the incessant cuck porn threads), and delete popular threads just to be dicks. /v/ has slightly worse mods but it's mostly that they're a bunch of fucking idiots. /pol/ is treated like shit deliberately.
The mods aren't even remotely SJWs, but actually /pol/ sympathizers. I was just in a thread on /asp/ shitposting about which female wrestlers would make good porn stars and some retard kept spamming BLACKED shit. Me and a couple of posters pointed out why BLACKED memes were bullshit and the janitor deleted those comments then deleted the thread outright. Then on a metathread on /v/ about soyboy memes I posted about it and the thread was instantly deleted less than 10 seconds later.

Keep in mind that there have been multiple mod/janitor recruitment drives since Gamergate's heyday, and you'd be dumb to not think a board full of wannabe Hitlers would instantly bite at that opportunity. Those popular threads on /pol/ were probably deleted because there were one too many posts going against the percieved /pol/ consensus.

And when boards like /v/ and /pol/ exist and you still somehow manage to out-autism even them on their best days at times, you know your board's fucked to hell and back.
Even though it's technically considered an offshoot of /v/, /vp/ can get REALLY bad considering its furry community goes between feeling fursecuted because the mods delete their husbando threads (both Pokemon-centric and human-centric) on some occasions and feeling like the mods are on their side when bara artwork stays up.

I just wish I could find some archives containing threads from 2012, I vaguely remember there being a sticky that Moot posted in /vp/ from around that time and the sheer amount of :autism: being posted by an old shitposter in that sticky.

EDIT: Along with adding in a forgotten word into the above text, I should also mention that the flip-flopping also affects the Pokewaifu (of the Pokemon themselves, threads focusing on the series' human females are left alone for the most part) and "Pokephilia" threads (in simple layman's terms, threads where people talk about wanting to fuck Pokemon). Yuck.

Capped this one a few months back. The saga of Subway OP and his unfairly-lost job.

Did you just say fursecuted?

So I just now remembered, but who's excited for the most exciting sports competition on the planet, the 8th annual 4chan Summer Cup?

For anyone who has ignored this part of 4chan culture, it's basically a tournament with a bunch of modded assets that each forum creates for it. You get custom teams populated by various memes related to that forum. So /pol/ for example has Moon Man, Ben Garrison, and Happy Merchant as players.

Anyway, the group stage is done. /pol/ is already out, but /tg/ is still in and that's where my heart is so I'm hoping they do well.

Here's the wiki page for the tournament, it has times for when matches are being streamed and links to videos of old matches. https://implyingrigged.info/wiki/2018_4chan_Summer_Cup

Holy crap, I took one peek at the wiki and next thing I know and I dived way too deep into the rabbit hole and popped out at the other side of the Earth.

Understandable, for what it is the 4chan Cup community produces quite a lot of quality content.
