I doubt Nancy truly understood what Phil did for a living and a quick glance at his paperwork would look legit with his explanation as to what he does. Saying "the money I make goes into paying for my internet, games, and online gaming accounts" looks like the truth to an older person who calls every console a Nintendo and buys games for their grandkids on their birthdays and Christmas.

The 'leaks' from @dangreene are not genuine, and certainly not related to DSP. Yet Phil INSISTS that his information has been leaked. As Dan was the only 'source', it means the whole thing is fabricated drama Phil has pushed (likely with the help of someone smart enough to provide said BS screenshots) to gain pity bucks from his demented dentheads.

There was no Comcast insider messing with him. It didn't happen. If Phil had not given credibility to Dan for this he might've still had an out and the possibility of fuckery would've still been a thing, but when Phil has, on multiple times, alluded to his details being leaked - that killed his last line of defence.

As far as we can tell, Comcast dude messed with Phil two, maybe three times. Let's be generous and round it up to five. But DSP complains about trolls and detractors consistently ruining his life. I don't think it's a stretch to say he makes those complaints at least like 5-10 times each week and uses it as an excuse for tons of things, ranging from being unable to leave his home (despite having a clear scheduled time off and frequently talking about his general routine and giving indications on where he goes) to being unable to go on vacation, to not being able to donate to charity. None of those are related/remotely justified by the fact someone reset his internet a few times and paid his bill in advance.

We're not (or shouldn't be) at war with Phil. Him being "wrong" about things is usually worth a laugh because he'll act like an expert when all it takes is a few seconds of googling to tell he's wrong, and he'll frequently get corrected in chat and get all huffy about it. But that is far from the only thing that makes him a cow. Even if Phil never said an incorrect statement from here on out, his general attitude, addictions and poor decision making would guarantee he's still a cow and give us plenty of material to laugh at.

The fact that Phil's greatest "win" this year is that someone turned his internet off a few times is a pretty good indicator of how well Phil is doing in life.

My best guess is @dangreene is a support.com low-level call center guy that had the ability to screw with Phil's account somewhat. Then, Phil embellished it in a few ways to play the victim, specifically saying he made false payments.

This wasn't a win for anyone. The drama wasn't funny. Phil didn't get extra money out of this, other than a couple increased daily tithes from PlanetJeff.

Sadly, this guy is a poor YouTuber; he tries to shout over a recording of Phil instead of, you know, pausing the video to respond to what Phil is saying, and I would pay money for Guido and The Boys to shove his soundboard up his nose. He also slips up repeatedly, stating that Phil's claims of having intermittent connectivity is debunked by the fact he has some connectivity.
That said, he claims to be a former Comcast technician, and I tend to believe him; he seems to know what he's talking about. He is able to pick at the details of Phil's claims, and I'm not surprised that a lot of the time Phil is full of it, pointing out issues which have also been raised in this thread.
Long story short, he doesn't believe Phil's claim of a misbehaving Comcast employee, but doesn't really present an alternate explanation of what happened. "Phil is a fuckhead" is a plausible opinion, I think, but it doesn't explain why DSP's network names changed.

I believe that when Phil last updated his Xfinity contact someone at Xfinity up sold this clown on buying 2 of these extenders that you plug into the wall.

These Pods plug into the wall connect to your Comcast device via an app. They also come with one or two Ethernet ports depending on the generation.


I think Phil uses a switch maybe that's the problem .

It is possible that Phil got up sold into having a wireless mesh network? That he plugged into old or not updated rented equipment?

I think he bought 2 of these things for $199.99 plugged one into his office and connected to his Ethernet switch for his consoles stream. When he tried to use his internet with this "Ethernet" connection. It fucked his shit up hard. Afterwards he bought his own equipment and the issue is resolved because now his PC is hardwired into his new router instead of connecting it through a wifi mesh system.
