Dox are just information. Wikipedia is a vast repository of information and a lot of it could be used to harm others, but that's your responsibility. The information is provided without comment. Wikipedia can host names and addresses, so what's wrong with dox?

The implied threat? Sites have locations of major cities and addresses of places of business, and other sites have instructions for how to build a bomb and how to be antifa black bloc. Why doesn't that constitute an implied threat?

There needs to be a second site just for information. All user submitted and thus protected under section 230, no editorializing, or what they want to call hate speech, or gamer words. Just information presented cleanly. Facts. Deadnames. It's only information, and if someone misuses it, it's not the site owner's fault. If a second gossip site wants to take a look at it and laugh about it, that's their prerogative.

Actually, because she is a congresswoman, there's an argument that her comments would result in a strong chilling effect on free speech. Probably not the strongest argument, but most congresspeople wouldn't make those kinds of remarks because it could lead to civil rights issues.
