I thought he made Zelda a playable character that dressed like Link, not a female Link!

It's... it's like he's admitting his Zelda was just Link with tits!

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.

It still grinds my gears harshly how he tries to look like a cultured 19th century gentleman while his entire world seems to be only made up out of pop culture nerd stuff... like Anita Sarkeesian who somehow thinks that video games matter in the greater scheme of things.

Lack of perspective and a total inability to self-critique is what makes these people lolcows, Herr DDC. Without such traits, they'd merely be middle-of-the-road nerd fodder, as opposed to the fecund sources of entertainment that their own hubris has made them.

Perversely, I don't actually dislike DresdenCodak: it is ridiculously limited in scope, and total fap material for Diaz, but it can at least be said to be produced to a decent and consistent standard. I also like the idea that the world is distinctly weirder than we give it credit for, which is probably why I'm inclined to be charitable towards Dark Science as a concept. His behaviour as a human being is worthy of naught but derision, as are his tumblr-wrought initiatives regarding reboots and gender swapping, but he has ability. I just wish he had a work ethic to go with it. Of course, if he did, he'd have his tumblrina card revoked immediately with extreme transprejudice.

DC artwork can be breathtaking -- an impression which is somewhat reduced by it having too many and too small panels plus frequent walls of text.

One shouldn't hate on Aaron because despite of his somewhat indolent work ethic he manages to make a comfortable living off his comics (his Patreon is >5000 $/month). If someone manages to earn a substantial income from comparably little work, I'll rather say: All the power to you, dude...

All this doesn't change the fact that his opinions are retarded, his characterization skills never evolved beyond: "Kimiko is a nerd and has boobs" and his tendency to slide around on his knees before Anita Sarkeesian and friends is laughable at best.

Basically, if you give Nookie Bear some extra IQ points, a certain artistic sense and an interest in scifi, you get Aaron Diaz.

So let me get this straight - this guy thinks he should be paid for his fan art which is based off IP he does not own?

He's also salty about Cloud becoming a Super Smash Bros character instead of some obscure Zelda one.

The thing is that Cloud is a more recognizable (and popular) character that will attract people outside the Zelda fandom. Now if they could just make Bayonetta (or to a lesser extent, Shantae) one of the new characters, the shitfits that Diaz and every feminist geek culture critic would make would be glorious.

Hasn't there always been some people chomping at the bit to see Link as a girl for a while now? I mean, there was that thing not too long ago where a bunch of ass-kissers for Anita Sarkeesian were all excited because they thought Link would be a girl in an upcoming game, people like Moviebob-

Also, not to mention Rule 63 has existed long before Aaron Diaz's drawing of female Link, as well-http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rule+63 (ironically, is he going to be yelling at Urban Dictionary for ripping off his idea too?)
In addition, OH HAI other artists who drew Link as a girl!:story:- https://www.google.com/search?q=Link+rule+63&biw=924&bih=708&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMI1Zuv29SRyQIVySsmCh02sgzW

The point is that making Link into a girl isn't some super-special, original idea that hadn't been in the general consciousness before Diaz showed up. Genderbending is a pretty fuckin' basic concept that has been around forever and it seems that Nintendo just wanted to cash in on the novelty of putting such a concept in a game.

Long story short- Diaz is so arrogant to the point where it's almost delusional.

You forgot that Diaz created an empowered female Link in order to selflessly support women's struggle for freedom, while all the other fan artists are sexist cishet dudebros who only draw female link to mass debate to.

somebody's spine got issues.

tumblr_nr8bb7seYq1u3lt4ao3_540_zpsmg0gpx8v.jpg

Nope. The backbone is meant to arch that way.

osteo3.jpg

What you're seeing are her hips and rib cage. If it were a flat side shot like this Osteoporosis diagram, then it would be her spine. It's excusable at worst. However, I'm more concerned about her enormous scapula bone. It's starting beneath the breast bone instead of above it like it's supposed to. Her scapula bone is almost like a backpack. The best part is that the rib cage is supposed to be smaller the further up you go which means it's all the more gigantic. She has a back tumor.

Best part is, he didn't actually draw a female Link. He drew a combat-focused Zelda which is already stupid enough, but then switching shit around and claiming he drew a female Link before the others?

Guy can't even keep his own shit straight.
