More minge hygiene issues. Caregiver of the year strikes again.
She probably has thrush. It can flare up with some antibiotics (knocks out the good lactobacillus in the vagina so the Candida runs rampant), but could also be from poor hygiene. Also could be from the bf if he's not keeping his dick clean and has a case of thrush himself.

I think the sushi may have been of the cooked variety, but it's hard to tell just from the photo.

Either way it's nice of her to keep us up to the minute on the status of her vagene. This is the kind of quality content people come for.

Eating sushi is not safe in pregnancy but to be honest at this point what's one more risk factor why not just go bungee jumping while smoking crack?
Eating high mercury fish during pregnancy ain't GREAT for a baby, but I wouldn't think much of a mom doing it once. I am wondering what's in that gimlet (???) glass. That's pretty weird-looking. If I paid for a mocktail and it was that little, I'd be annoyed. If it's alcohol, it's WAY too early in the pregnancy to start that.

Hopefully this is also a mocktail. I don't think the sushi advice is because of the Mercury but as the previous poster said applies to the raw fish sushi because of bacteria.

Oh, excess mercury is going to cause terrible concerns in a developing embryo/fetus. Most of the parasites/bacteria are killed in flash-freezing stateside, although not everything gets killed. You should not eat high mercury fish like shark or swordfish. I'm not big on telling people they should listen to medical advice on an internet gossip site from someone who's not an OB, but this is one of those exceptions.

We might be given slightly different advice in the UK we were warned off the raw sushi and warned not to eat too much tinned tuna because of the Mercury.

It’s actually three fold, you are correct about mercury, the other person was correct about bacteria but also..
parasites.

The FDA here in the US specifically says Mercury but in truth, all three are an issue. Just how pork can contain trichinosis, fish can have anisakis. It’s a worm. In addition to fish tapeworm (Diphyllobothrium spp) that can be found even in smoked/marinated fish.

Offending dishes include: raw salted or marinated fillets from Baltic and Scandinavian countries, carpaccio, tartare maison, cerviche, and poission du lac facon

I don’t eat sushi so I can’t tell you what was eaten from the picture, I just hope it didn’t contain raw fish.

I also feel like a lot of high mercury fish like tuna, shark, and swordfish are just less popular in Europe, but I also thought Tesco was a gas station the first time I heard the name.

Yeah that's why I think the advice is different, in the uk we actually eat a lot of tinned tuna as a staple but we don't eat a lot of raw fish sushi or the types that have high mercury fish.

What I've gleaned from reddit is that "adderall" was part of his problem and why he's chubby now he's off it but that it's also a cover story for opioids.
If someone goes to rehab for Adderall it’s an extreme red flag. Adderall and Ritalin are as addictive as coffee. But that’s not the issue, it’s that they’re going to rehab for some hard drug and claiming it’s for Adderall. The first step of shit like AA is acknowledging that he’s addicted to something and saying what it is. It’s ok to lie to people about rehab or be super vague about it, especially after the fact. That’s why programs like AA are anonymous. It’s a white lie. The program wouldn’t work otherwise. But saying it for Adderall is bad news. Bam Margera says the same thing, and he’s going to die like Aaron Carter soon. Amanda Bynes was/is(?) also an “Adderall” addict. They pick Adderall because most normies have never taken it (though many have tried it once or twice now), and because it’s legal with a prescription. So it sounds less scary than crystal meth, which is what they’re actually taking. But it doesn’t sound silly, like going to rehab for marijuana or cigarettes. They can explain away their continued tweaker behavior on Adderall. There may be someone behind the scenes telling them to say Adderall because they want the addict to cycle in and out of recovery to keep them in a conservatorship or abusive relationship.

TLDR:
“I went to rehab for drugs” = good
“I went to rehab for meth” = good
“I went to rehab for Adderall” = potential lolcow

Many people don’t realize lung volume changes during pregnancy. Fine if you’re healthy, not fine if you have existing lung disease.

Expiratory volume decreases, residual volume decreases, functional capacity decreases, etc anywhere from 5 to 25 percent depending on the value.

It’s def possible to intubate an awake ob patient, really difficult patients will require a video laryngoscope but it also depends in the type of anesthesia used for intubation. General anesthesia or failed awake intubation calls for the use of a video scope, generally.

Sorry PL:
I was SMA adjacent in the mid-late 80s. I worked with a family member of hers. She was a preteen I believe, already getting to be difficult to handle because she was completely limp and had no way to work off calories. She had had an operation to insert a rod along her spine to prevent her torso from collapsing into itself. The family had to turn her every 2-3 hours at night and she was expected to die at any time from pneumonia that she couldn't clear by coughing. I remember that she once had a quadricep biopsy that had holes where the voluntary muscle nerves should have been.

My coworker told us that had his relative married anyone else that he would never have had a child with SMA. I had a notion to google my coworker (he's dead) then his SMA relative and I was shocked to see that she is still alive. Alex could be producing milk for another 20 years

Is intubation normal for pregnant women with her condition or similar conditions? I know her specific condition has only recently had people live to adulthood, but are other pregnant women with similar conditions and mobility disabilities normally intubated?

With that drug she’s taking, it could be even longer.

yes. Breathing during labor is very difficult. She’s probably going to end up giving birth via c-section anyways because she won’t be able to push the baby out.
TikTok is full of creepy people who talk like kids. I'm not sure if it is a case of old people trying to fit into the environment and use the lingo of the people on the site or if it's just straight up pedo bait shit.

Normally womean have an epidural or spinal for a cesarean section, but because her spine is so twisted that's not an option.
An awake fibre optic intubation is done with the patient sitting up, using local anesthetic down the throat so it doesn't distress them too much.
It's not the most pleasant experience in the world though.
At least that's how it was done ten years ago when I last did one. I'm out of the game now.
And I wouldn't gas her for a thousand bucks.
