Is that a nice, baby-suffocating-levels-of-huge teddy bear in there, or just a hood and my eyes are fucked? I know it's removable, but it doesn't do much for my impression that she has a woeful lack of insight into what is needed to safely baby-proof an area. You may think it'll be a while before it can reach the curtain but it'll happen sooner than you think. And pulling it down's not the only risk - is she gonna be the one to check that none of that curtain is trailing into the actual bassinet? 'Cos as soon as the kid can move that'll be a choking and strangulation risk. I know these are risks that could apply to anyone with a canopy like that, but given she is far less able-bodied and quick, and her carer might be busy with her and not the baby, it does compound the problem. (I would mention Noah, but LOL who am I kidding??!)
Ah, well, I suppose at least the canopy means the baby will be out of sight, out of mind when it's not being trotted out for internet views...at least, that's what she probably thinks. Doubt she realises how loud and non-compliant babies are...
And, yes, late, but that is an AWFUL lot of non-wipeable, crevice-y, moisture-absorbing fabric to be putting close to a poop-and-puke-spewing baby.
