Alexandra Rodriguez / Alexandra Irene Thomas / Learning to be Fearless - pathological liar, fake BoPo advocate, professional dropout, apex consumer, great big fatty, now a mother

Just the way she never tells any stories about Anderson like "this morning he woke up and farted and then laughed!!!" the way all new moms think everything their baby does is just the most fascinating and cutest thing ever and want to share every moment and every new thing they do, you can tell she spends almost no time with him. I understand not wanting to share videos or photos of his face but you would have to cut out a first time mom's tongue not to have her tell you all the cute first little moments.

I am honestly surprised, because I have never seen a new first time mom so uninterested in spending time with her baby, but I also don't know any moms that are 500lb shopping addicts. I did kind of expect that Alex would change her life majorly to revolve around her child instead of herself but I guess that was too optimistic. I expected her to go full boymom.

A quote I've said a lot: You have to care for a thing in order to love it.

The corollary is: we care for the things we love.

Let's just say a close relative had a first baby around the time Alex did, and the differences are... breathtaking. Alex is really tacky.

There does seem to be a serious disconnect between Alex and the baby. Maybe it’s disappointment (she did want a girl after all), maybe there’s an element of PPD, or it could just be that Alex needs to learn to love someone other than herself. I do think she loves Anderson, she just doesn’t know how to care for his needs or put them ahead of her own. She went into motherhood totally unprepared and uneducated. She and Yar were just going to wing it. That was always going to be the wrong approach for Alex. Yar seems to have the think on your feet mentality, and he’s the one that appears to be doing most of the infant care. I wonder if he knew Alex wouldn’t handle it, and that’s why he stopped working outside of the home, other than his part time Army gig. Alex on the other hand, has set ideas, and when things don’t go her way, as is very often the way with an infant, she has zero coping ability. She’s going to need to learn, and would do well joining a new mothers group in her community. That’s how we coped back in the dark ages. The babies played (or slept, or fed) while the mums discussed baby stuff. Outside of that couple of hours a week together, everyone had someone they could call if they needed help or even just reassurance. I think Alex needs that, because her mum can’t replace actual friends going through a similar experience. First time parenting is challenging, with much of the time spent questioning your capabilities. You can’t just wing it with TikTok.

She already mentioned couple of times that they want to try for more babies, that what's weird. I understand buyer's remorse, but then why more babies (besides wanting a girl). It also would be more understandable if the baby was a mistake, but she was trying for 1-2 years.

Fatlexandra's content is mind - numbingly boring and one needs a finer comb to sift through for the nuggets that landed her in this forum.

Shoving her dog away from HER special birthday moment.

Pretending to walk him by just going outside her house to film for a minute and then hurry back to her snackies and TV shows.
Bruno's life seems to be devoid of joy and stimulation, and he has no reaction to seeing her or Yar as opposed to his happy outbursts on the rare occasions when someone visits or he is taken outside to meet other dogs.

Her passive aggressive jabs at her baby, discussing his bodily functions while pretending to care for his privacy.

Showing his face on Instagram twice since stating they will not do this.

The difference in her facial expressions when talking about him vs talking about food.

Admitting she has no strength in her arms to lift baby's carrier (what happened to that high BMI muscle??)

27!!! large boxes of Christmas decor that has to be brought up with urgency on November 1st.

The raging food addiction displays and constant weight gain.

The glitching slim filters.

Her claim "she photographs slim" and does not edit her photos even when her huge chin rolls disappear on insta posts.

"No, I don't eat carbs"- proceeds to cook and consume slop in each video for the last year, topped up with countless snacks, doughnuts, cupcakes and similar high fat, high carb, high sugar gastronomical abominations.

Comparing herself to "poor Oprah" and telling her audience to shut the fuck up about her weight after monetising it for 10+ years.

The relentless shilling for Amazon crap she immediately returns and the random sponsorships for objects she claims to be obsessed with, only to never be seen again (most recently, door lock and ice maker)

The list is endless and this is just off the top of my head.
Tell me these are the faces a mentally healthy person makes. (courtesy of Reddit) :

Bagels aren’t really a thing in my country. Even so I have some knowledge about how difficult they are to make. Fat Al could never manage it. I might actually have to watch this one just for the homemade bagel LOLs.
I didn't watch the video, but there's a simple (and shitty) bagel recipe that is making the rounds which involves yogurt and self rising flour. The kikes are turning over in their graves - and really, bagels aren't that hard. If you can make bread, you can make bagels, but you need barley malt and time, which is easy to manage if you plan ahead, and make the dough the night before.

edit: fucking words

I was confused when she said she got cow outfits for the boys (plural) because she only has one child... but ofc she means her fucking DOG. 🙄 She literally sees her baby as equal to a dog and thinks it's cute to pretend they are "siblings" holy shit.
Nothing new in that. She’s always referred to Anderson as Bruno’s little brother. The first initials necklace had A, Y, B & D on it. The replacement necklace is A & B, plus her ETSY bead bangles say Bruno and Anderson.

I have a bunch of older Alex content to get off my desktop, so here it is. This is all from Instagram.

She's pretty ill-equipped for motherhood and, as someone already said, she really needs a real-life friend group to interact with. She only really seems to think about motherhood through the lens of social media, and it's not doing her, Yar, or Anderson any favors. I'm glad Yar has seemingly stepped up, though-- Anderson will benefit from that (as any child would).

She's desperate for people to tell her Anderson looks like her, but he looks like Yar:

$158 USD for pajamas that look like they came from one of Anna O'Brien's Old Navy hauls. Fantastic. Tis the season.

lol, no shit he won't look like her at all, he is mixed raced and Yar has the dominant genetics.

I am surprised how much darker he already looks.

This picture could be used in Sammie's thread as yet more evidence that Skylander is pure white. Yar is like milky coffee when compared to burnt coffee bean Darnell.

Quick question, please don’t judge because my colicky baby is now 34 years old so I don’t know the current situation.

I’ve read elsewhere that Alex has shown (I gather on Instagram which I don’t have), that Alex is using gripe water to calm Anderson down. Back in my day, gripe water was still a thing, but on the way out because of its alcohol content, with Infacol and adjusting teat sizes being the preferred colic treatment. From what I’ve seen online, the FDA don’t approve gripe water, and all other sources I’ve read, have said not to use gripe water until at least 4 months old, which Anderson is not at. Given we know Alex isn’t breastfeeding (no judgement regarding this by the way), we know it’s not Alex’s diet causing the issue, but it seems Alex is still using TikTok to diagnose and treat Anderson’s digestive issues rather than taking him to a paediatrician for diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Anyone have any the current lore regarding colic treatment in infants. I’m curious.

ETA: Anderson is the spitting image of Yar. Back in my day they’d say “no need for daddy to check out the milkman”. 😂 Alex is kidding herself if she thinks the baby resembles her. I’m sure he will once she fattens him up though. I’m also not going to buy into the flat head arguments, because this baby was 5 weeks premature, so only 5 weeks past estimated due date. He is not developed enough yet to hold his head up.

I had a colic baby last year and it was hell. They really don't recommend anything except waiting it out. Formula fed babes can have a small amount of plain water. Mine was eventually diagnosed with bad reflux and started solids early. They really don't want to give babies medicine unless absolutely necessary.

Hope there's no PPD going on, for all of their sakes. She is more likely to have it if Andy has colic though.

Gripe water doesn't have alcohol in it anymore, it's still sold as a remedy for colic.
