There is footage, as someone else already pointed in this thread, of Becky with a cast. If I'm not mistaken, she was also using crutches. There are videos of Becky going to PT.

Becky's sister does work and one of the reasons she and Amber were going over there so often was to drive her sister to work.

Becky's mother had, at least while Becky was growing up, a full time job. Becky has told enough stories to come to that conclusion. Just because her mother had a booth on some art fair doesn't mean she doesn't have a more conventional job (or had, she could be retired. We don't know). Even if the wreaths are her only source of income, there is no problem with that. That too is a very fair way to make money.

We all, I'm sure, have all kinds of suspicions about iffy things those two do, but please don't share your suspicions as they were facts.

I think there are a lot of reasons why. Amber had a more enjoyable life with Density because although she wasn't a Harvard professor she wasn't a complete halfwit like Becky "Marjoram" Williams, and also unlike Becky she didn't spinelessly conform to Amber's self-destructive whims. Amber was happier in those days, her weight was stable (still extremely fat but there was some element of restraint) and life wasn't a Groundhog Day of Wommart and eadeen. Maybe Amber has realised that always getting what you want isn't a good thing when you're a 550lb trainwreck who hasn't made a good decision in her whole life.

Those kids went into foster care when Amber was 8 and you know there were CPS investigations and other assorted fuckery before the kids were finally removed.

It's actually really hard to become a ward of the state, permanent loss of custody. Split up from siblings, aging out of the foster care system... Whatever was going on in that famly, it was serious as fuck for that to happen. That's definitely a tragic, traumatic childhood.

But... you grow up. Sometimes I get the feeling that fat AL acts so childish because she's stubborn. She had a terrible childhood and believes she's entitled to a good childhood, so she's refusing to "let go" and grow up--which would mean taking responsibility for herself including her health. She's determined to make up for a shit childhood by giving herself that childhood, but in doing so she's absolutely ruining her adult life. Throwing it away.

I'm probably overthinking this but I'm reminded of what Dr. Drew said (lol) about porn stars and sex workers. We find out time and time again that those girls were molested as children. They have very promiscuous sex or even make a job out of it, because in their subconscious mind, what they're doing is trying to relive the sex trauma but on their own terms, where they feel in control.

Edit: I kid about the tictacs but for a good part of the time she was with Destiny, Amber was not only getting out of the house, staying busy and being a contributing member of society and the household by working, but they also appeared to have a social life.
Destiny seemed to have deep feelings for and was legitimately attracted to our gorl, as opposed to the situation she's in now where it's apparent how uneven this relationship is. It appears Becky doesn't feel she can do better and she won't assert herself when Amber continually shits on her.
They spend their days doing nothing and focusing on how bad they feel instead of being productive - it's no wonder Amber looks back wistfully on those Destiny years with rose-colored glasses.

That video is from July 2018. The injury that "put her out of work" and required physical therapy was in July 2017, before they full moved in together. It was back when Amber was staying with Becky a lot but not moved in, leaving her cats alone for weeks at a time and Destiny would come over and take care of them.
