This is the career path they have chosen, and have been very well compensated for that. All of them seem to feel the desire to be adored by all and carried around as Pharaoh on top of the income they are damn lucky to be pulling in. The reality that he is getting older, fatter, and less relevant by the day rips away at him and he does not possess the introspective skills to channel that positively.

Joe's potential future if he keeps it up. I know I wouldn't want a gig that makes me look like I am dead inside.

Joe is losing on average about 200 subscribers a day. Today it is 1,313 subscribers. He's lost almost 50% of his views on his videos.

All I have to say about his decline is good.

Oh and subscriber count has decreased . -84.6% decrease in new subscribers. He has no growth at all now. Just a steady decline.

I think him publicly coming out and saying that people who want him to make Angry Reviews are not his real fans really killed a lot of support for him.

At this point I think we can expect his channel to stop growing. The decline has begun.

It took Spoony YEARS to reach where he is now. I don't think Joe is going to become homeless or anything unless he's made very poor financial decisions, which I doubt considering we've seen no real evidence of that.

What is going to happen is that Joe's Angry Army is going to grow increasingly hostile towards him, which is going to effect his numbers and bottom line. I could see someone replacing him, actually. The same way ProJared filled Spoony's niche after he stopped making content.

There isn't a better way to kill any sort of momentum for a channel than to eliminate fan interaction (no ratings or comments) and bite the hand that feeds.

He's going to fall long and hard.

Spoony amazingly still gets subscribers and views though even if he hasn't brought out a proper video since November (Countermonkey I believe was his last major video)

Angry Joe has been going downhill for a long time now, but I think with the recent Twitter storm that strongly implied that Joe doesn't want to make Angry Reviews anymore, a thread on him is justified.

Joe is beginning to lash out at fans who ask him why there are no Angry Reviews for games we know he has played. Among them this year are Horizon: Zero Dawn, NIOH, Persona 5, and others. Joe actually took initiative earlier this year to improve and actually promised to stick to a schedule earlier this year which produced some really good reviews on Yakuza 0 and Zelda, but now he's regressed again and decided to take a 'vacation' from making Angry Reviews. Because apparently playing video games is such hard work. Shouldn't his 'vacation' time be when there aren't any major releases to cover?

Joe seems to want to transition into making unedited vlog videos instead of actual edited content, similar to what Spoony did before he stopped making videos entirely. It really does seem to mean that the beginning of the end of the Angry Joe Show is upon us.

Also, didn't get all youtube celebrities get shafted by youtube's new methods of displaying recommendations (to pay celebrities less) ? I remember pewdewpie complained about this too.

Joe made a half hour video on the situation. I am watching it now. I'll sum it up soon.

Summary:
He showed stats that proof he does make fewer reviews as the years pass and says that the unedited videos in between his reviews are meant to fill that void. He also says only trolls hate him and they drag his real fans into the hate mob. He's not going to block comments forever either, he is just testing it.
