Are there any video Games your looking forward to in 2025?

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
I don't 'look forward' to games, you spend your whole life waiting for them, agonizing.

Last game I did that with was Halo 2 and it was a massive disappointment, so I stopped doing that.

The only one I looked forward to (and also basically the only upcoming game I knew about besides few that I know only because of the infamy, like Assscreed Floyd) was KCD2, and I wrote that one off two weeks ago. Feels weird, man.

I owned a Lunar 2 collector's edition way back when. Too bad I didn't keep it.

I hope they don't undo the voice acting. It was cheesy, but that was its charm. Also, Ghaleon's voice actor knocked it outta the park.

My steam wishlist dropped from 12 to 5 over just the last few months. I don't really wait for games as much as I wait for them to drop and become complete fucking flops. "God damn I have to spend €60 on KCD2? Oh wait it's a DEI-infested shitshow. Neat! Money and effort saved".

Of games I've actually wishlisted, preordered and won't be refunding? Tomb Raider 4-6 remaster, I guess. I preordered Wilds but I already know it's gonna be mediocre slop.

Fatal Fury City of Wolves
Clair Obscur

Doom is a certain day one buy for me. Ninja Gaiden 4 looks very hopeful. Expedition 33 is a maybe. Haven’t seen enough on that game yet.

It’s made by the people who made the first three Witcher games, i like the Witcher games. Plus I like how they went with a historical setting, which i prefer to a pure fantasy.

I wish they picked a later timeframe, but maybe that’s in the cards in the future.

I'm not sure if either Crowsworn or The Wolf Among Us 2 are coming out this year specifically, but I'm cautiously optimistic for those one.

My backlog's pretty big though. Blasphemous 2 is next up on the chopping block for me after I finally beat Tomba!

This one is my most "anticipated". I sometimes get the hankering of playing a fighting game on release to get the full experience. Did the same with Strive and had my fun till the fucking trannies invaded the game and soured the whole thing.

Also very nuch looking forward to. Really liked Raging Loop even if I have some misgivings with it, and really want to see another game set in the same world.

This one I'm more cautiously interested in. Aside from the "appeal to western market" faggotry present in the game, need to see if those life quality and "cinematic experiences" that the game seems to aim for or too detrimental or not. Odds are I ignore it till it's done with it's whole lifecycle and play it as a single package like I did with Risebreak.

Will definitely play the open betas though.

I'm also interested in FFVII Rebirth. I expect it to be a train wreck but I did have my fun with the first. Definitely not day 1 and will either get heavilly discounted or sailing the seas.

Though another big hurdle from the last 2 I mentioned is they may require me upgrading my rig, which would kick them far off in the calendar.

Also, as the gigantic faggot fan that I am of From Software, I'm also cautiously interested in Nightrein.

Though honestly, looking at my picks and enthusiasm, 2025 is looking pretty damn weak.
 
Xenoblade X Remaster, with the main feature being it not stuck on the shitty Wii U. TBA 3D Mario game. GTA VI.

Judas might be great too, but I won't be playing it for awhile.
