Armored Core

Use two anti ice worm guns on your shoulders and either two precision bazookas I think they’re called, or two majestic bazookas. Using this build mash the buttons like you wanna get arthritis. All four of these make for a huge stagger builder and damage dealer.
I did this and beat it pretty easily, thanks nigga.
I beat the game and I'm on NG+ now, is there any reason to play it again besides story or do I already have all the parts unlocked?

You can go back and do some of the other missions you didn't take on your original run, and each ending has their own respective end-game parts. There are also a couple of NG+ specific missions and mission alternatives, as well as many NG++ exclusive missions. On NG+ you can get the rest of the OS upgrades through an expanded arena, and there's a couple of coral weapons that require NG+/++.

You also get the last few Coral weapons through combat logs, and you don't get the last one until pretty much the end of NG++.
Thankfully you get those ridiculous weapons Walter and Ayre use against you in those boss battles. God damn is the Redshift like a Nebula on steroids.

You've probably already tried it out, but laser lance + pile bunker juggling is retarded damage
(this is against the rank 1 dude in the arena)

The Pile Bunker is so awkward to hit with, the enemy being stunned is basically a prerequisite for the charged attack (and the regular kinda sucks) and you gotta get good positioning right as they're stunned. That said when it works, it really works. I prefer Laser Blade or Stun Baton, both have good charge speed and damage.

I know the Pile Bunker fight looks way better, but if I had the Pile Bunker equipped in the second fight, I wouldn't have been able to hit him with it.

Guess you just can't beat the Institute.

I haven't finished the game yet, so I don't know if there's another sea spider. But it's not hard if it's the one from chapter 2.

I think that's the biggest problem with this game. If you are not using two songbirds the game is basically impossible. This shit was not balanced at all.

EDIT Read the description of the video "Asmongold Beats The Sea Spider after almost 6 Hours of tries in Armored Core 6"

6 hours? It took me 4 tries. This guy is clinically retarded.

I have a feeling it will be like Elden Ring and it's better to wait the devs to balance shit than finish it 100%

I'll have to look at the stun baton. I bought it but never equipped it. The charge attack also looks like a thrust. That right? If so looks like a funny chasing combo.

Do you mean the melee booster thrust? Yeah it has that on both regular and charged, the attack itself is an upwards slash and its reach isn't great, but it's very fast and the recharge is great, you can basically stun baton > laser lance > stun baton because its so fast. Also try the BASHO arms if you're trying to squeeze everything out of melee weapons, the damage really adds up.

I think the only boss that took me an hour or more was Cel 240. There’s no way someone can be this bad at AC6.

Cel 420 is a true filter. If the helicopter and spider were hard for you, this one takes it to a new level. It hits hard, has really good mobility and punishes your fuck-ups immediately and severely. It's actually my favorite boss in the entire game now. The only boss that rivals it would be the final boss of the Liberator route. If you rekt Cel 240, good job. From this point on, you clicked with the game and understand how it works.

It just occurred to me that a standardized form of challenge could be to play through missions with a particular AC preset. Imagine some mad lad playing the whole game with MAD STOMP.

The VVC-774LS is fucking sick. You should try it.

Beat Balteus first try. Just spammed 8 cell missiles at him until he took a shit. Haven't been playing a whole lot because of work but I've been grinding the Destroy the Dam mission to buy parts. Takes me about roughly three minutes to do and it's a reliable 180,000 credits and S rank.

I am currently trying to do an entire playthrough with an obsolete AC gimmick. My current rules:

-BASHO head/arms/core/legs only
-No energy weapons
-No missiles
-No "advanced" projectile weapons (including but not limited to linear guns or the stun dart except in the one mission it is required)
-No shotguns
-No energy based melee weapons

I am also trying to stick with combustion engines and old ass boosters where possible but I may need to unclench on this a little for some of the later bosses. So far, cleared up past Balteus without any real trouble.
