Honestly, you could say that about a lot of AssCreed games. To a point, they largely play themselves. I'm interested in exploring the old towns of that era and exploring around doing cool side mission shit. You even get a prototype for what would become 4's sailing mechanics, even tho there isn't that much you can do with it here. Either way, gameplay is much more interesting and the game has infinitely more soul than what Shadows and all the new RPG-lite games have.ACIII's biggest problem was the fact that the entire game felt like one massive tutorial. I remember spending the first 10 hours having my hand held. Even when you get to Connor you have to spend the first hour just being a fucking kid and learning how to stealth in the least efficient manner.
