There's been a theory offered that since "Paths" is capable of allowing someone to see both the past and future, Karl Fritz knew about Eren.

In turn, Eren manipulated Karl to create the Wall Titans.

Then again, considering how retarded everything went down, my take is that both wanted conflict to end by playing off of each other to basically make a cataclysmic genocide of such proportion that everyone would be sick of being assholes to one another.

Which still didn't work because people aren't machines who'll follow a set command forever.

I find it funny how the top three are not even in the main trio and are mostly the adults. Eren probably has some hanger-ons. I find it hilarious how no one voted for Connie and Historia is dead last meanwhile characters like Annie and Sasha are at Numbers 10 and 11 respectively.

Then there's fucking Marco and Ymir (The Better One) who have not appeared in the manga for a long ass time but still held out strong.

Yeah people seemed to generally prefer the first half of the story, which is understandable since the second half is mostly political drama till the fumbling with the worst implementation of racism I've seen in fiction

I think this has to do with the fact that Marco and Ymir had a fuckton of potential that was just frankly squandered, especially with the former. I mean, remember when everyone thought Marco was a titan-shifter and was in league with the other ones?

No I never heard of that, I feel with Marco it's mostly a fujo thing since all I ever see people talk about with him is how he is Jean's lover or best friend. There's also his intelligence and innocence that Isayama likes to bring up about how he was "too good for this super evil world" like what typical edgelord writers like to do.

Ymir though definitely leans more into potential especially with how there was a lot they could've done with her but she was killed off for plot (Honestly how they handled Ymir was a pretty weak way to handle things pre-timeskip).
