How will Eren be stopped?

If he wiped out 80% then that should have been enough damage to the Earth to render it uninhabitable by your logic, otherwise you're suggesting that 20% undestroyed was enough to have no lasting impact on humans whatsoever, as they were thriving. So how much would be the point where it's too much and then everyone's extinct? 85%? You seem to know exactly how much Titans damage the ecosystem so I'm curious how close to doomsday they got.
We don't actually have an idea of how much of the Earth Eren ultimately succeeded in destroying, only that he didn't wipe all of humanity out. Eren himself never left Marley, and he was the head of the colossal Titan contingent. Assuming the Titans' rampage radiated outward in sphere with Island as the central focal point, they could of have conceivable hit multiple continents at once that were in range, but a significant portion of humanity actually survived due to Eren dying prematurely. Isayama himself leaves it vague how much of the Earth was destroyed, only making it clear that the Rumbling didn't set mankind back that far, since they reached modern technology levels and destroyed Paradis within a few generations.

Its really funny that the ending retconned this to pretend it was actually tens of thousands of years in the future with a futuristic city but they forgot to swap out the 70s M270 MLRS trucks in the ending shot.

No.

And that's the worst part.
My sole understanding of AoT was what was generally understood about it around 2013/14. I never dedicated myself to watching it because I knew there would be issues with the manga and lags to finishing the story, plus I was in the military. Eventually I just lost interest entirely, so it stopped mattering to me. After being inevitably spoiled on details through memes over the years and having a nebulous understanding of current events, I wanted to browse the thread and see where it all went...

I never could have imagined a decade ago, that one new anime with the "cool opening" and a brilliantly simple plot (slay Titans build walls) becoming such an unparalleled dumpster fire. I'm getting more enjoyment from reading people's comments about it than I ever would by watching the show.

Seems like the creator got too big for his britches, tried to tackle subjects he isn't emotionally equipped to handle nor smart enough to write, and lost control of the crazy train.

I disagree.

From the moment that it was revealed that "We are on a single island in a larger world and the Eldians are there because of Racismz" this show was doomed.
The show needed to grow at one point otherwise it would end up like the walking dead where you have 12 seasons of fuckall happening wondering why people haven't gotten their shit toogether already.

Growing the world was a good idea, the problem was the execution.

I feel like you could’ve made Eren bitching about the world not being like the book Armin showed him work, if there was weird ass monsters threatening the whole of mankind, but Marley just wants the Founding Titan to solidify their grasp on their territory.

Like the outside world should’ve been terrifying even with the advancement of technology.

AnR released a teaser trailer an animated adaptation it's apparently making.

"Thank you for blessing us with a modern masterpiece."

I keep forgetting people actually think this lol. Mentally I still have it categorized that way when thinking of the best animes, but that's because of previous seasons.

I’ve heard AOT be called “just pretentious enough to come across as doing something profound to those who don’t know any better when in reality everything it does has been beaten into the ground”.

I guess that’s why we have “modern masterpiece”.

It's because the show is on an endless loop. The people behind it wants to make sure that it ends until, at the very last minute, they end up having more nonsensical ideas they keep pulling out of their asses.

What's even funnier is that they're blatantly lying about what they think of it too because their original "About Us" page said this.

As much as I dislike the ending, at least Isayama's work isn't riddled with grammatical errors like that page lol. What a joke.

I’ve heard before that AOT had the potential to be dumb fun like DBZ or Bleach, but took itself way too seriously. I guess the fans are the same way.
I'm glad it wasn't a simple as something like Bleach, but it does seem like AoT bit off more than it could chew trying to be smart. It should've dialed things back a bit, you can have a smart and dramatic show and still be comprehensive, like Death Note.
