How will Eren be stopped?

One thing I really love from this chapter in the meta-sense is how everyone is laughing at Erenfags from the people who love the series to even the shitposters while Erenfags are seething and trying to cope that the genocide ending is not happening (I doubt Isayama is going to go through with it since there seems to be very overt messages about how precious life is even before Armin's talk no jutsu to Zeke).
The Erenfags are by far one of the worst things to have come out of this arc, and I'm so glad they're getting the ending they deserve.

Yeah Erenfags are having a meltdown on their own subreddit saying how the manga is shit because Eren lost (I am not kidding) and how the ending of AOT is "Shonen bullshit" (despite the fact that contrary to popular belief, AOT is literally a Shonen manga, like legit AOT was originally going to be on Shonen Jump before Isayama went to another Shonen magazine)

Honestly, I just love it because Erenfags are some of the biggest crybullies, and sociopathic smug cunts around, and seeing them ree about their greasy husbando getting wrecked is amazing.

Eren just can't catch a break with the Colossal Titan. The Colossal Titan piloted by some sweaty kid killed his mom, instigated a mass murder of his town and beyond, and ruined his life. Now a Colossal Titan piloted by his best friend blows him up.

I will say that I kind of hoped Eren would win, since his cynicism was on point (the rest of the world is justifiably afraid of the Eldians because they can turn into giant man-eating monsters in a flash and they're going to have to fight very hard at a minimum to protect the people they know and love, but they can't catch up with the rest of the world in technology or manpower, diplomacy has failed, and their only real large-scale weapon is effectively a nuclear arsenal primed to carpet bomb the world) and the entirety of his opposition's reason to fight is that they're not comfortable with the prospect of genocide since they spent up until the last few years fighting for the sake of mankind. Trying to digest this particular chapter, I had to refresh myself on the fact that it's very much acknowledged that the likely reality that an aborted Rumbling would mean the extinction of the Eldians when everyone justifiably retaliates and they truly have nothing to fight back with, but it's as though their set-in-place moral compasses won't allow them to merely sit around while all other life on Earth is wiped out.
And that Eren just didn't instantly use his brainwashing power on them.
Eren could have subjugated his opposition upon first contact and obviate any chance of conflict, but I thought it was made clear that he wanted to give them the freedom to fight against him and potentially prevail.

Yeah and they also are REEING how Kruger and Grisha are helping. At first it makes no sense but then you remember that the former didn't want any of his own race to die while Eren is killing everyone outside of the island including other Eldians and the latter was told to save Mikasa and Armin who Eren is being a cunt to and even without that Mikasa is his daughter who Eren is trying to kill.

Eren legitimately burned every bridge he had at this point with only the Yaegerists and Historia being the only ones to still probably like him. He deserves all the shit he gets and watching the Erenfags meltdown is genuinely hilarious.

It's even funnier when you realize that Erenfags try to portray him as being this hyper-intelligent, incredibly competent, 4d chess master genius when he's actually so stupid he practically destroyed himself.

They also act like Eren is free despite the fact Eren is literally a slave to his future memories and his genocidal tendencies are no different from how he wanted to kill all titans when he was a kid. He's a good character but he's not some intelligent chessmaster with big brain plans.

He's also not free because he literally just created another prison for himself by destroying everything, and pissing of the rest of the world. I mean, he's practically back at square one.

Yep and while the Cringevengers in concept is a very cliche idea of former enemies teaming up together, it says a lot about Eren he managed to bring them together through his genocidal ideas. Eren as a character is fascinating but he is not meant to be seen as a heroic character in this arc and the Erenfags completely miss the point of his character (along with many other things about Attack on Titan in general) by glorifying him. Then again Erenfags would probably think any character is deep/intelligent if they do morally questionable actions while looking like a "badass" (design wise), reminds me of the Fate/Zero fags who glorified Kiritsugu because he looked cool and had done questionable things despite being a manchild.

Kruger and Grisha's goals aren't particularly different-- it's just that Grisha had to explain to Eren what he needed to do in a high-pressure situation (he lost his wife to his Titanized compatriots and got goaded into murdering a whole family by his son from the future because Karl was such a kuck cuck that he made his cuckoldry a feature of the Founding Titan).

Your explanation otherwise makes sense, though Kruger is made a hypocrite through it because he sacrificed scores of Eldians because he believed in his beleaguered mind that he was doing it for the sake of Eldia. In Grisha's case, you'd think he'd have understood that Eren's somewhat trying to do that, to the point that Armin is detained rather than killed outright-- not to mention that they came and put themselves in that danger.

They also act like Eren is free despite the fact Eren is literally a slave to his future memories and his genocidal tendencies are no different from how he wanted to kill all titans when he was a kid.
I disagree; when he was a kid, the Titans were a malevolent concept that ruined his life and killed a lot of people he held dear. Everyone would have thought differently of them if they had known that Titans were transformed humans living a hazy nightmare desperately and instinctively searching for a Titan shifter so they can return to human form, and they ended up thinking differently of them after they discovered that reality.

Eren as an adult actively struggles with his plan to genocide the world outside Paradis, because he can't make abstract the existence of that world. He moved and lived among them, realized the outside world wasn't drastically different than the one in which he grew up in, and now became aware of some of the people he'd be trampling over. It's practically a reversal of his arc regarding his understanding of the Titans-- starting out wanting to kill the Titans as though they were feral animals (and they effectively were), he becomes sympathetic regarding the Titans because he realizes that they're humans trapped in a waking nightmare. In contrast, recognizing the humanity of the world that opposes the existence of Eldia, he dehumanizes them all to a generalized threat (and for all intents and purposes, they were-- diplomatic and humanitarian appeals didn't work because their fears were justified, and the Eldians of other nations couldn't but look after themselves) because he can't find a positive solution wherein he can do otherwise.

Regarding Eren's "freedom", I think you're right. Kenny said that everyone's a slave to something, and there's been no argument posed against it-- only Eren's declaration that he found it.

How do they take themselves so seriously when the whole subreddit is named after a goofy joke from the abridged series? It's like if someone made a community called "poundtown" and filled it with arguments about what type of mental illness(es) Reiner is suffering from.

Q predicted this.

I never realized how nice the tankoubon covers were...
my sides
that's fucking funny

that's a great shitpost

the last chapter has confused me beyond belief though I rarely even know what's happening in the manga anymore even though I've read all the chapters
Re-reading seems to help. Helped me, at least, in understanding why everyone was going to fight Eren even though aborting the Rumbling by killing him would likely lead to the extinction of Eldia.

Since when did Eren became Donald Trump?
Whenever he became Super Hitler.

I think it would've been better if there was build up to Zeke making this turnaround because it felt rushed how Armin used talk no jutsu on Zeke to get him to help Armin convince other titan shifters to help them.

To be honest, it would have helped if he'd better established, or at all established that they were helping the apocalypse along of their own free will rather than being reduced to mere servitors of the titan hivemind thing. Because breaking through that by showing them all a baseball is doubly ridiculous.

I mean Zeke never wanted to do the rumbling, he just wanted to sterilize the Eldians to give the entire race a mercy kill so that no more titans would happen. He thought Eren had the same idea but misjudged his brother based on what he believed about his upbringing.

I get that his motivation to turn against the process makes sense, but then there's the question of literally everybody else who was apparently going along with it in zombie-titan form. Were they willing participants, or were they being mind controlled in some way that had to be undone by gazing into the magic baseball? Did the baseball awaken them from some sort of sleep, allowing them to exercise free will again? I'm not an expert on baseball so maybe I'm missing something here, but it leaves a lot of unanswered questions in my mind.

You're allowed to switch teams at the bottom of the ninth, right? I think that's how this works.

They probably brainwashed and slaves to Eren's will, I think they snapped out of it through Armin and Zeke's persuasion, Zeke prior was succumbing to his fate because he was a doomer essentially.
