Modders weren't exactly hopping onto their computer to go fix their mods whenever a DLC dropped, and it's no secret that more and more people have stopped modding MW5 (even all together). Only really people who have stuck with the game ever since release or the early DLC stuck around and even they're dwindling, no big mods are really coming out, existing big mods are in maintenance mode if anything at all, there's really nothing more to make that hasn't been made or is not worth making. The only "big" mod that is still in development is the mod that makes buildings fully destructible rather than their outer layer.Whats this about mod support dropping off for MW5:Mercs?
Another reason to pirate or to just wait an extra week. Day 1 and 2 purchases are silly. So far, yeah. The gameplay is alright (is MW5), I do like the tactical map and the scanning mode but the AI is still retarded, the mechlab is horribly designed but Dire Wolves are cool. It chugs terribly in some areas, the day one hotfix did improve some of the performance but it is still bad, the cinematics and voice acting is mixed, it looks like something that you would find in some UE5 slavjank. I'm half tempted to refund it and get it 6 months down the line.
