You're sure about that? There are a few mechs without windows. Specifically the ones with the cockpit in the center torso.

You give them too much credit, if they don't even know that mechs (expect in extremely rare cases) have a cockpit window what makes you think they know what the Dark Age, Jihad, Clan, or any era is?These niggas probably think that BattleTech peaked at the Dark Age and IllClan era.
Based. It peaked with the FedCom Civil war era, don't @ me.
I wonder if the way Ty Beard likes to play tabletop Battletech is to run XL engine mechs stupid hot with ammo stored in the side torsos and no CASE. It would resemble his legal performance outside of contract law. These dimwitted fuckers have got Ty Beard on the payroll, FFS. We've seen how carefully he performs his legal responsibilities.
Your honor, my client clearly is not guilty by reason of insanity, he has been noted to use XL engine missile boats with extra ammo stored in the head in his Battletech Tabletop campagins. He also mentioned his favorite era is Dark Age; clearly he is not fit to stand trial.Crossposting from the State of Minnesota vs. Nick Rekieta thread

Those are the protomechs that Balr0g mentioned, yeah, along with prototype direct neural interface mechs from an old tabletop Mechwarrior RPG adventure back in the day. I don't think I've ever seen any other official full-size battlemechs with torso cockpits. There are a few mechs without windows. Specifically the ones with the cockpit in the center torso.
I think every mech build in MWO has extra ammo or something in the head, starting to make sense now.he has been noted to use XL engine missile boats with extra ammo stored in the head
That's because if you start taking structural damage to the head you're dead anyways. Not much different from sticking ammo in the CT. Once your core is exposed, you're done for no matter what.I think every mech build in MWO has extra ammo or something in the head, starting to make sense now.
The Dark Age has seen the proliferation of Torso mounted cockpits. The Capellans have their Vandal and the Free Worlds League has their Stalker 2. Both have torso-mounted cockpits. Other nations have gone with armored cockpits but even those have the usual ferro glass cockpitsThose are the protomechs that Balr0g mentioned, yeah, along with prototype direct neural interface mechs from an old tabletop Mechwarrior RPG adventure back in the day. I don't think I've ever seen any other official full-size battlemechs with torso cockpits.
Specifically why I said tabletop campaigns and not MWO. For MW games I can save and reload or queue up again consequence free, I'm also stuffing ammo anywhere it fits for a fire support mech. Maybe I'm not fit to stand trial either...I think every mech build in MWO has extra ammo or something in the head, starting to make sense now.
So he is using Eyeleuka's then? The "death by cockpit explosion" MechYour honor, my client clearly is not guilty by reason of insanity, he has been noted to use XL engine missile boats with extra ammo stored in the head in his Battletech Tabletop campagins. LmaoSo he is using Eyeleuka's then? The "death by cockpit explosion" Mech
The only ejection system guaranteed to yeet you directly into the afterlife.Honestly if I was in BT world and was born as a Canopian or Capellan, I would also want to load ammo right on top of my mech's cockpit to escape (life).
It'll take you out of the 'Mech within 0.03 seconds or your next of kin's money back. The only ejection system guaranteed to yeet you directly into the afterlife.
The "clanners" don't act like actual clan mech warriors the main cast act like zoomers not indoctrinated vat grown super soldiers surviving the hell that is clan society. I hated the writing and found the gameplay to be slightly better than MW5 thanks to the added additions however the Ai is still bad and playing as clanners sucks.Im enjoying Clans. its amazing you are playing the bad guys especially these days. its well acted, the cutscenes look great and it feels like a cod campaign.
Exactly ejection system are needless extra tonnage that could be put to use for more ammo or other useful parts. Who needs safety measures just don't die or at least take them with you.The only ejection system guaranteed to yeet you directly into the afterlife.
This is 100% correct from what I have seen of cutscenes and shit so far. Looks like it was made by the retard modern game devs who think marvel movies are peak writing rather than someone with actual appreciation for the setting. The "clanners" don't act like actual clan mech warriors the main cast act like zoomers not indoctrinated vat grown super soldiers surviving the hell that is clan society. Be a real man and use MG ammo.Honestly if I was in BT world and was born as a Canopian or Capellan, I would also want to load ammo right on top of my mech's cockpit to escape (life).
My brother in bad decisions, hell yeah.I'm also stuffing ammo anywhere it fits for a fire support mech.
The PC star characters aren't terribly well written, look way worse and have far more inconsistent VA quality than the lore characters, who are the complete opposite and the highlight of the game. This is 100% correct from what I have seen of cutscenes and shit so far. It's a Unix system, duh!So, for those unaware, BattleTech Pride is now seemingly at an end.
The cause? Something perfectly, autistically, BattleTech, that being an argument over whether or not BattleMechs have windows.
