Your honor, my client clearly is not guilty by reason of insanity, he has been noted to use XL engine missile boats with extra ammo stored in the head in his Battletech Tabletop campagins. He also mentioned his favorite era is Dark Age; clearly he is not fit to stand trial.

Those are the protomechs that Balr0g mentioned, yeah, along with prototype direct neural interface mechs from an old tabletop Mechwarrior RPG adventure back in the day. I don't think I've ever seen any other official full-size battlemechs with torso cockpits.

That's because if you start taking structural damage to the head you're dead anyways. Not much different from sticking ammo in the CT. Once your core is exposed, you're done for no matter what.

The Dark Age has seen the proliferation of Torso mounted cockpits. The Capellans have their Vandal and the Free Worlds League has their Stalker 2. Both have torso-mounted cockpits. Other nations have gone with armored cockpits but even those have the usual ferro glass cockpits

Specifically why I said tabletop campaigns and not MWO. For MW games I can save and reload or queue up again consequence free, I'm also stuffing ammo anywhere it fits for a fire support mech. Maybe I'm not fit to stand trial either...

The "clanners" don't act like actual clan mech warriors the main cast act like zoomers not indoctrinated vat grown super soldiers surviving the hell that is clan society. I hated the writing and found the gameplay to be slightly better than MW5 thanks to the added additions however the Ai is still bad and playing as clanners sucks.

Exactly ejection system are needless extra tonnage that could be put to use for more ammo or other useful parts. Who needs safety measures just don't die or at least take them with you.

If I could I'd use those prototype improved jumps jets over the standard improved jump jets as while the prototype is hotter and explodes it is the same weight as a normal jump jet.

This is 100% correct from what I have seen of cutscenes and shit so far. Looks like it was made by the retard modern game devs who think marvel movies are peak writing rather than someone with actual appreciation for the setting.

The PC star characters aren't terribly well written, look way worse and have far more inconsistent VA quality than the lore characters, who are the complete opposite and the highlight of the game.
