So Dire will be locked at 48.6 (unless you take speed tweak, don't do that though). Sleipnir has an engine cap of 360, most Sleipnirs won't be moving faster than 54kph tops though. What kph do the cyclops and dore wolf top out at?

There are about 6 "basic" colors that can be had for Cbills. They can be bought individually, the UI is absolute garbage. Apply them to the mech and it'll let you purchase the color you applied.Do you have to buy all the colors if you want something other than olive drab, or is this just me not getting the UI?
It's amazing how every UI has been progressively worse than the beta UI. Inspired, really. There are about 6 "basic" colors that can be had for Cbills. They can be bought individually, the UI is absolute garbage. Apply them to the mech and it'll let you purchase the color you applied.
The UI being dogshit has been a complaint for a while, and the old one was actually worse.
Really only if you have friends to play with. Kind of the nature of every F2P game though. Is it worth getting into MWO if you're pretty much a total greenhorn? I had always been put off due to hearing complaints about grind and microtransactions and whatnot, so I never gave it a shot myself. Don't know if it's one of those games where the population is so full of veterans by now that newbies are basically cannon fodder.
It’s been fine for me so far, though I’ve only been in for the last 2-3 days.Is it worth getting into MWO if you're pretty much a total greenhorn? The HBS game was alright (though some missions felt like total bullshit), and MW5 is pretty fun, though kinda repetitive (still need to try out the DLC stuff/mods). I just keep finding myself getting drawn to the setting and wanting some more giant robots, and it's a bit of a shame there aren't a whole bunch of different games set in the universe. But that's probably due to the issues with copyright and sales and all that, yeah? I don't really know the whole story.
Every single part of the game has seen some form of decay. The graphical fidelity. The hit registration. The playerbase, the metas, the maps. There have been incredibly few improvements that stayed that way over time. Most "improvements" have been rushed band-aids for a glaring issue. It's amazing how every UI has been progressively worse than the beta UI. Inspired, really.
Yep, it's a perfectly competent MechWarrior game, it just gets repetitive quickly.I bought mechwarrior 5 mercenaries the other day, its pretty fun
My only two complaints are that it gets to repetitive and ontop of that the vanilla Mechlab blows hard. Thank god for the modding scene and its wonderful job.Yep, it's a perfectly competent MechWarrior game, it just gets repetitive quickly.

YAML is mad legit fun. Can slap a 400 XXL in an Annihilator if you've got the insanity and C-bills for it. Now, I don't know why you need an Annihilator that runs around at 81kph, especially since its going to be even more prone to spontaneous self-immolation thanks to the XXL, but sure, why not.My only two complaints are that it gets to repetitive and ontop of that the vanilla Mechlab blows hard. I recommend going with the basic AC2 build.Picked up the dire wolf hero mech. What do i need to do to set this up to play to its strengths. It’s almost as slow as an urbanmech, but I’m not sure which flavor of autocannon will work best.
