I have an electric steamer and it's great for zero-effort food.
Shrimp gyoza, steamed pork buns, edomame beans, pork and chive dumplings, shrimp hargow and more.
They're inexpensive and take about 15 minutes.
Dress with soy, sesame oil, maybe some black vinegar.
If you want to pretend to be healthy, throw in some bok choy or choy sum for the last couple of minutes.

pretty much anything in an instapot
by this point I'm mostly confident I could throw cat shit and barbed wire in with a couple of packs of onion soup mix and enough water to cover it all and it would turn out fucking great

Baked potatoes. So simple to make, just toss them in the oven then wait an hour and cut 'em open and enjoy with butter and sour cream. It's not quick but it's very low effort yet satisfying and also very satiating, it's also a nutrient-dense food that is very healthy as long as you don't overdo the butter/salt. I fucking love a steamy, hot baked potato.

I really liked the Stouffer's Bistro microwave crustini chicken fajitas but then they stopped selling them, at least in Canada.

The top tier of microwave lunch foods I eat now is probably the CP (a brand that stands for something Thai) Shrimp Wonton Soup but it's usually $5 so I don't have it for lunch too often. I do add veggies to that since the basic soup is just wontons and noodles, especially onion to flavour the water.

Everything made in one of those bad bois.

A good butchers pie reheated or Ill have a sarnie with good bread and ham or fruit.

Rice and tuna. I make this when I can't be bothered to put effort in at all. If you use a rice cooker, you can just hang out in the kitchen and play a Switch or something for 20 minutes. The tuna just needs taken out of its packaging and tossed on the plate with the rice. I usually use Thai chili flavored tuna, but any other flavor is fine. To really set the lazy mood, use a paper plate.

Over easy Eggs. There's a lot of lazy things but silly cheap, good for you, filling, fast, a chimp could cook, next to no clean up. Also can be added to anything almost and improve it (seriously throw on a burger, bowl of ramen you name it) or just enjoyed alone.

College Ramen/Pasta/Rice isn’t a meme, it’s a legitimate strategy and currency. Add anything you want in less then 5 minutes- cheapest and most healthy shit can be made on the fly.

Edit: to elaborate on currency me and neighbors will give each other stuff and barter for shit in case we fucked up and forgot to shop. It’s neat.
Simmering canned french onion soup, soy sauce, mirin, and deli roast beef together makes for delicious trashy gyudon

Yup. Takes time, but tasty.

The Kroger's near me has these pre-breaded fried shrimp that's 2 meals for 2 people for $10 (Or less if it's on sale). Takes a minute and a half per batch in a fryer. That and a packaged salad is really easy.

Country style omelette. Piss easy to make and you can load it up with whatever you want very quickly. Bacon bits and broccoli are probably my go to.

Crack 3 eggs and whisk while bacon bits/chopped bacon is in the pan, remove bacon and add broccoli to the pan of bacon fat, fry quickly, remove broccoli, throw in eggs and make omelette, load it with cooked bacon and broccoli.

The removing of the bacon and broccoli in stages is me being purely pedantic because I like to top it and fold, takes maybe 10-15 mins.

Tearing a loaf of hardbread in half and eating it like a medieval peasant.
