The fact that the tires on the Batmobile in Arkham Knight have zero fucking traction and the vehicle itself just drives like shit.

I don't care if it's fucking raining. Batman is a fucking billionaire. There is no excuse for his car to handle this fucking badly.

Tbh I'd say the biggest bullshit in video games is any of the DLC for Isaac Rebirth. The base game is pretty much perfect, it's a little flawed and some of the synergies don't work at all, but it feels fair and there's a general feeling that the only thing stopping you from beating a boss is your own skill.

Diluting the item pools, adding more bullshit and nerfing good items were some of the dumbest decisions and catered only to the "I've played BoI for over 6000 hours now and it's TOO EASY AND BORING" crowd. Thanks to you faggots the chance of me getting a damage up between any of the first 4 floors has gone down dramatically, turning the game into a boring slog of spending 5 minutes in each room.
 
Im just disappointed that Lain never got any more games past the obscure PS1 release.
There's plenty of room for innovation and improvement on how weird that game was and it really didn't make any sense until you got most of the pieces of the story together.

Only real problem is that its a multiple hour long investment for almost no payoff unless you are a hardcore fan of lain and want to see anything more that isnt the anime version of lain. The game just abruptly ends and there's no point in the NG+ for a small bit of extra text dumps. You can't even interact with the Lain avatar, which is the coolest version of lain in my opinion and significantly more expressive.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a great game, but whoever decided that AI Hunters are able to slash you in the middle of their stumble animation needs to be slapped upside the head. On Expert difficulty, you can play as coordinated as possible with a good team who watches each other's backs, but the moment you expertly dodge his leap and you give him an appropriate slap to stun him, he will slash you for about 40% of your lifebar right there.

Isaac's strongest point, the abundance of content, is also its biggest flaw. Isaac's expansion philosophy of dumping 100 new items into the pool kinda ruined the game for me.

Isaac has become such a 'hope you roll a good item' game. Some bosses are also literally unbeatable without proper stats (good luck beating Delirium and the Beast with low speed) and player skill has no involvement whatsoever; the only difference between a good player and a shit player is that the good player may have 3 extra coins and a bomb at the end of the floor; the rest is all RnG and chance based.

Look at games like Our Darker Purpose and Into The Gungeon; they perfected the formula. Isaac only rolled back.
 
I love SOR4. Its a fantastic game.

It also does the worst thing for difficulty- just slaps i-frames and hyperarmour on enemies and calls it a day. There's no parry, dodge or counter system so a lot of the times you have time for a single punch before you need to start sauntering away lest you get kicked to death in a single stun lock combo.

Generally this is fairly bearable, but two bosses have entire suites of moves that have them rush across the screen grabbing or kicking you in a massive, lengthy sequence. On regular and hard difficulty this is kinda irritating, but on higher difficulties they can chain together at least ten attacks in this manner and you can't cancel them out of it. All you can do is jump around and pray to God the collision detection rules in your favour.

Here's my Streets of Rage 4 secret high level tech:

1) spam ➡️➡️🤜 until combo meter turns flaming purple
2) get jabbed once by Donovan
3) score reverts to 0
4) pause -> restart
5) drink gallon of coffee and repeat 1-4 for nine hours until it works right

It is still less bullshit than SoR2 on Mania, where "just have extra lives and die eight times" is basically the actual pro technique for the last two levels.
 
Battlefield V also said it would be telling women's stories yet no Night Witches or Lady Death or Aleksandra Samusenko. Just a Gender Swapped Commando raid but no true stories about the women of WW2.
So when EA goes woke, it's at the expense of quality and common sense. Fun fact: BFV was rushed as a result of Battlefront 2's negative reception to its microtransactions.

All that potential for V to succeed with its "stories of the untold" and "female representation" with the WW2 setting, they went the cheap route. Something tells me THEY'RE the uneducated ones.

Could be because a huge portion of the stories for women in WW2 were Russian and I don't think the Scandinavia countries are fond of Russia due to the fuckery they pulled in WW2.

That’s the second-biggest bullshit in the Streets of Rage series.

The biggest is the boss fight with R. Bear on SoR 2 on Very Hard or Mania difficulties as single player.

Sweden was neutral, don't think they were in Denmark, apart from a small island, and the Anglo burned down more of Norway than the Russians did.
