Biggest bullshit in a video game

Could be because a huge portion of the stories for women in WW2 were Russian and I don't think the Scandinavia countries are fond of Russia due to the fuckery they pulled in WW2.
Maybe a segment to where a mom would have to fight off invading German forces with limited ammo. Now THAT would be stories of the untold.

Apparently, there were plans on Eastern Front content (there was data for a Russian LMG in the files), but that never happened when the game got the plug abruptly pulled (I think the same for Battlefront II, no way is a port of a Battlefront map a logical capstone for a game that became so popular).

Update 5.2, the one that fucked up the TTK and killed all the momentum the Pacific content brought, soured so many fans that I think it caused EA to cut all support to those two games in a panic to get all hands on deck for the next Battlefield. Time will tell if this was a good move, DICE needs to absolutely nail Battlefield 2042 for their sake.

Sweden was neutral, don't think they were in Denmark, apart from a small island, and the Anglo burned down more of Norway than the Russians did.

OT:
The fucking civil war thing in Rome 2.
They let the Germans use their rail systems and keep mines and sold them iron while Norwegian and Danish troops were training there to retake their homelands. Granted they may have not had to appease to the Germans as much if Russia had not invaded Finland. Which in turn made Finland wanting to retake some of their land back which had them allying with Germany.

Well sure. But none of those things should have soured the Swe*es relationship with the Russians.

Sweden also did a clever thing where they, through different means, projected way more military power than they had on hand, the country still had a legacy of being good at war and kicking in teeth. During that time they scrambled to design and create as much war material as they could.

Sweden's been in war with Russia many times over a long period of time. The entire Swedish defense system and its infrastructure had a "huh" moment when the enemy didn't cross over from northern Finland, because that's what they were defending against.

I will do a brief review on Battlefield V in the thread once I get comfortable enough with the content. So far, there's a lot of bugs I'm noticing. It feels lesser than Battlefield 1. It's common to get stuck in geometry or have hit detection not register.

The majority of Sweden's defenses have been designed around fucking up the russians. That history stretches before and after WW2. Why they might be weary of their enemy annexing finland I leave to real historians, it is very complicated.
Again, the russians did nothing to Sweden in WW2. Which was what the original statement was.

There's also a bug that prevents you from reaching the respawn screen when you die, forcing you to quit out of the match. It's been there at least since I got the game in the Summer of 2019, and continues to exist after DICE bailed out. No other Battlefield game had this bug, not even 4 when it was in a horrific state.

The bugged state of the game, and the way DICE abandoned it, makes me wary of how Battlefield 2042 will turn out.

I had a similar bug to where I was stuck in an infinite loading screen joining a match.

The original statement was that certain actions wouldn't sour an already sour relationship between two long time enemies while things were brewing up to global war, at the same time one was using the stomping ground they would traditionally use to invade their enemy, right?

It's not what I'm getting. But different languages and all that.

Replaying RDR2 and Arthur leaving his long guns on his horse when he dismounts like the dumb kid that would leave his lunchbox on the school bus. Nothing like expecting to go boar hunting except you left your hunting rifle on your horse, as professional outlaws typically do.
Your hunting rifle, you bow, the non-regular ammo loaded into them and occasionally your second pistol. I didn't realize Arthur was so adverse to firearms.

Yeah, that was one "realism" aspect that should've been left out alongside having to manually cock guns.

I don't even mind a lot of the "realism" aspects the game has, but those two are so fucking tedious.

One of their lead devs literally majored in Marxist theory at university, I have his record floating around somewhere. Unfortunately fuckwits like this see their job as advancing the cause of global Marxism through non traditional media rather than making a fun game. It’s why V went so fucking wrong with its focus on minorities and the jarring placement of bionic women in WW1. Rewriting the past to plant lies in the minds of the stupid is a basic weapon of all shitty culture wars.

I think that unless DICE cuts out the political cancer making their games into interactive propaganda, then 2042 is going to bomb as badly as Cyberpunk did. Hire woke diversity instead of competence and you’re asking for trouble.
