Maybe it's just me, but the boys got chastised for not having their ties correct and stuff all the time. I guess different countries have it differently applied.

Same here. Went to Amerifat public high school in the 10s. No uniforms. Still cracked down hard on graphic tees, tank tops and headwear. The same dress code that makes sure your female students are not dressing like streetwalkers is used to make sure your male students are not dressing like gangbangers.

Leaf here. One school I went to banned muscle shirts, ANY clothing with a camoflage pattern (the excuse was "it reminds people of war"). and shirts that had material that was the kind with little holes in them (I guess it's for sweat/cooling? Athletic shirts of some kind) and Tank Tops, except for during Phys. Ed, and a few other things.

I must have gone to the most boring school ever because only dress code that got enforced regularly was guys wearing beanies or hood during class. That wasn't allowed so that they couldn't hide earbuds and actually paid attention. Only other thing that the teachers made sure we followed was no open toed shoes during chemistry but I don't remember that being an issue. I think the cold climate just kept everyone within reasonable clothing choices.

And ironically the word "fetiche" seems to be French for... fetish which judging by their grammar might be the case. In other words they're smarter than Yuu is because they can speak a second language. It's also where we get the word fetish. Not that Yuu cares. Yuu seems to be all about virtue signaling.
