He killed himself and let his body fall in the water :story:

It's not like he was necessary. They already know how he killed her so we can pretty much piece together what happened. I just hope they don't go easy on his parents because "they've been through so much." No no no, anything less than federal rape prison for helping that faggot evade justice will be a crime in itself.

Can you niggers stop whining about "who are these people?" 90% of the lolcows we follow are smaller fries than these retards.
100% of the people we follow are lolcows. It's not the size that counts, but the fun e-drama they generate.

Again, I'm not going to judge you if you think this story is interesting. But personally, having gone and checked their history, and found nothing except two generic IGs and an empty blog started two weeks ago, I'm not seeing much to go on here. We still don't even know if the dude killed her, so unless it turns out the girl had glowie parents and fungus toes, or the guy wrote a manifesto blaming Gamer Gate for his inability to get HRT, then this one's probably not going to be for me.

They'll never find Brian because he actually has a full head of hair. He was simply waxing his head and growing a beard so that he could pull the 'ole switcheroo after escaping. Those true crime gals are gonna have to start paying close attention to clean shaven non-bald men if they want a chance at catching him!

Take that haircels, now they'll come after you too!

I just think it's funny how there's a nationwide manhunt and the police are begging the public for information about him... and yet there isn't an arrest warrant out for him.

Why the fuck would this guy willingly hand himself in to be questioned off the record when there's no legal requirement for him to do so?
I mean you think you know about the "Law" but clearly you don't. You probably think police have to disclose if they are a cop if you ask them when they are undercover trying to buy and sell you drugs.

Before people start sperging about how him refusing to cooperate with the police was just him being smart, I just wanna remind you all that Gabby was his fiancée, and that if he was truly innocent, and if he truly did love her, he would've done everything in his power to help find her regardless of how it made him look instead of outright making things even more difficult in a pathetic attempt to save his own cowardly skin.

Fuck this guy, and the fuck the people who are defending him. He had literally no fucking excuse here.
Yep

Another day, another young woman goes for a psycho killer / sack of shit and ends up dead .... Story old as time.

The actress will be white but they'll have a sassy black commentator bringing up Missing White Woman Syndrome, like that stupid radio show in the Bruce Willis Death Wish reminding us that vigilantism is bad.
I actually liked the remake of Death Wish. Not as good as the exceptional original but fun enough.

I've thought the same thing. If I were him, I'd probably do the same thing. Lawyer up and then disappear until a warrant is issued for me. There's absolutely nothing legally stopping me from going anywhere I want for any reason if all I am is a person of interest. For all we know, his lawyer has him in a motel in Ocala. He's probably actually dead, but it would be funny if he turned up like that.

Jesus, this just got deeper.

Also:

The schizoposting is what I come here for, these people are out of their minds and my sides can't handle it.
PopHipHop Superstar Lizzo wants you all to shut the hell up about the dead white girl and focus on a most-likely-dead black boy:

I love how Lizzo could have reposted a recording of that video, talked about the case herself, or did ANYTHING besides stare like a retarded cow into the camera while this woman goes off about this missing nignog. She just had to get her greasy fucking face in front of it because her infinifat body wouldn't fit in frame and insert herself into this story as some type of influencer hero. Nobody gives a fuck about Jelani Day - for those out of the loop. 26 year old dude stops going to classes, they found his car in the woods a week later but not him - the dude killed himself, case closed.

For all of you sperging out about how infamous this case got, y'all sperging out for nothing. Slice your wrists with Occam's Razor and realize that the reason this story is gaining traction is because it's a mystery murder involving people who aren't cretins that both sides of American can be invested in and it's snowballed in fame by being famous, a la the Kardashian effect - aka, this story is doing numbers. Cases like this gain appeal with the masses because the only negative engagement a story like this gets is from incels who wanna shit on Gabby and say Brian dindu'nothin', which will have seething and dialting people in the comments telling them how wrong and awful they are - aka, more engagement with the article.

Why it's on happenings, ask the mods; I put this on A&N and it was a cesspool since the OG thread. If one was conspiratorial, one might think the mods moved this to happenings just to watch the infighting and faggotry play out in this comment section for some luls. Which to that I'd say, good job, this amount of redditry I've seen here scares me. Speaking of:
I lurked hete for about a year, finally made an account when I started listening to the Chris-chan podcast.

I have had to deal with reddit for promotional reasons for 2-3 years now and it's a shitshow. I think I'd rather be forced to watch tik-tok with my eyes pried open like on robot chicken.
What the fuck could you possibly be promoting on reddit; I wouldn't want those faggots anywhere near any product or offering I had.

Yeah, I think @mdrop22 hit the nail on the head.

I've been wondering why this story is plastered everywhere since I saw it featured on KF. I mentioned this several pages back, when I posted some archives, but my initial assumption was that these two were genuinely popular Youtubers / influencers whom I've never heard of because I'm a boomer. Like a murder-suicide version of Logan Paul doing dumb shit. But as I was digging down through all the MSM flak, it soon became apparent that these two were "literally who?"s with a smaller online footprint than my grandma.

Obviously, it's always a tragedy whenever someone who is not a troon or a communist gets murdered. And I do not want to begrudge anyone their interest in this case, because it's both normal and natural for people - especially middle-aged women-people - to be fascinated by stories of attractive blonde hippie girls dying in the woods.

I won't tell anyone to stop caring about this story. I won't judge you if you're interested in it. But **I** feel like I've been lied to. I feel like I was advertised a juicy internet drama story featuring bonafide lolcows, Reddit jannies, ties to the Unboxing-Industrial Complex, and a telling history of r9k posts, but instead I got bog-standard Nancy Grace fare. Instead of Oxychan, I got Holly Bobo.
I think a lot of people had this impression. The person who told me about the case described them as youtubers and said all their videos besides one had been deleted and that's actually what caught my interest. By the time I realized there were no missing videos new developments had happened so I kept following it, but the initial intrigue was their internet footprint which turned out to be barely there.

I do read a lot of true crime stuff but usually cold cases, I've never gotten into the current media circus cases while they're happening, what a shitshow.

Yeah, people latched on to the "youtubers" thing way too much. They were aspiring youtubers - they went on this trip with the purpose of starting their "van life" vlog and they only got one video deep before he killed her.

Honestly that's pretty interesting and absurd by itself, they hadn't even been on their van trip all that long to begin with. Just break up with her and drive her home, bro.

I don't tend to involve myself in Cold case stuff, or active stuff, when I was young there was an old codger that ran what was once a five and dime but later became a convenience store / check cashing place in a town adjacent to mine, and where I had family live. For some reason he obstinate enough that he didn't want the brinks truck coming to his building to take and deliver money, he would go to the bank and back on his own, with 10k or more on him. The cops would offer to drive him to the bank since it was such a tight knit community but old people will do as they will, apparently some black guy had noticed the routine that he was doing day after day with precision timing and interdicted him in the parking lot of the store before it opened and killed him and snatched the money. This is '93 so video cameras largely didn't exist in the manner they did a few years later and it was early enough that nobody got much of a profile on the guy aside from some sort of box sharped car akin to a Lincoln Continental from the 1970s which drove east towards Philadelphia which is less than a half mile away. With such little evidence and effectively no witness the case is effectively dead. One of the local Philly outlets did a podcast episode on it. 15 years later there was a repeat murder, 4 blocks away another guy got killed during a stickup as well. Two black men walked through the door and shot the owner dead on the spot before saying anything to him, grabbed the money out of the register and fled. No leads no resolution.

I would have to say, the murder killed the town it instantly sent a shockwave through the population and what was a working class town -- almost 90-95% white -- realized that they were exposed to the violence of Phildelphia and over the course of the mid 90s early 2ks the entire town fled including the nearby towns. My own birth town went from 98% white at the 2000 census to 45% in the latest.

One of the local news agencies did a podcast about it.
