Are people forgetting that Ghosts had Micheal Myers 10 years ago? It was a proper killstreak too, the music played and everything. All you had to do was pay for the DLC and earn it every game, there was none of this battle pass nonsense.
This is exactly why COD is dead and why the few people who still play it killed it: Nobody cares about actual COD lore or aesthetics anymore, they just look forward to the next crossover of the thing they like, just like kids in Fortnite. Modern day COD fans aren't even COD fans in that sense, they just crave yearly slop in the same way FIFA or Madden fans do.

So what, it's okay to CONSOOOM and get ready to buy the next product so the CONSOOMING cycle can continue because...it's Halloween? This kind of mindset is exactly why COD, hell all of GAAS has degenerated gaming like this. If you want a Halloween game, I suggest Dead By Daylight. This shit was always cringe but at least in Ghosts it was limited to Micheal Myers(and Predator) so it was something new and unique. If everybody is running around in some cheap costume, it's just literally Fortnite, I don't see how anybody can play this shit.
I checked on MW6 in the first time in months and it just gets sadder and sadder. Apparently they didn't even add any new maps in the latest updates, it's just old maps with cartoon filters. You heard me, it's not a reskinned map like Winter Crash or Winter Redwoods or whatever, it's the same exact map with an obnoxious filter. I doubt the devs are even working on the game anymore, once they drop the last bit of content then they're gone and it's all hands on deck for the next product, so we can play as Micheal Myers in yet another 80$+ game in a few years. MW6 had absolutely no personality of it's own, it was such a blatant cashgrab that I think that COD Mobile, literal Tencent free to play title on mobile phones, had more personality and neat content in it. It was also, you know, free, not 70$+ on launch. I don't see BO6 being any different, it will just be TreyarchTM flavored, for those who want Pepsi instead of Coke this year.
Edit: BO6 can ban you mid-game if the AI detects you shit talking too much. You can still get shadowbanned like in the recent titles if people just report you too much, even if you have voice chat completely off
Oh and cheaters are already in the beta LMFAO. Best COD yet because Treyarch made it this time! COD IS BACK BABY!

Treyarch has been known for small, 3 lane maps since BO2, but it looks like BO6 is literally all just Raid or Summit sized medium-small maps, if not smaller.
The ADHD brainrot of nu-COD fans and Treyarch fanboys is now completely terminal. If the current community had it their way, these maps would be even smaller, everyone just wants to play Shipment 24/7, I mean how many years in a row did we have this cursed map now? I swear this wasn't even a proper map all the way back in COD4, it was just a debug/test map left by devs for shits and giggles. The maps are so small that the new Max Payne shootdodge is pretty much worthless now, simply holding down positions and playing like you usually do works most of the time.

Could have fooled me, stupidity of the modern COD cattle invokes Poe's law more often than not. Doesn't change the fact that movie skins and Halloween/seasonal events were always cringe in these games
