Remind me to create a Black femaleAs long as you can play as a Nazi I'm happy.
They better have dedicated servers and a drop-in/drop-out system or it will be a nightmare like the Zombies modes.-Will feature a 4 player co-op campaign.
This reminds me of BFV and how DICE subverted people's expectations by refusing to make maps based on iconic WW2 moments.-Will feature content beyond the Pacific (a leaked screenshot hints at Netherlands due to Dutch windmills).
I'm gonna press X on that because it will put the game journos in foetal position.-Swastikas are in due to Germany repealing the ban on depicting them a couple of years back.
A lot of this sounds appealing, but the main characters (?) are sort of giving me Battlefield V vibes in terms of uniform design (at least it looks like they won't be as "wacky" as the robot arm Tracer knockoff from the BFV teaser).
just for clarification, the ban in still intact, what changed is that video games now fall under art (not in the journo sense, but expression) where depiction was always allowed. it was retarded from the start, just took a while for someone do to something about it.-Swastikas are in due to Germany repealing the ban on depicting them a couple of years back.
Yeah, the time of authentic looking WWII games has passed thanks to microtransactions being easy money. This is to be expected at this point. I mean, they pretty much turned Black Ops into GI Joe so I'm expecting a similar treatment for Vanguard so they can sell goofy skins for the inevitable BR/Warzone integration.
(that being said, I actually like Black Ops turning into GI Joe but I think it works better due to the 80's time frame. I don't think it works with something as serious as WWII)
Regardless, I'm glad that they can stop pussyfooting around and depict the Germans as they were in that war.just for clarification, the ban in still intact, what changed is that video games now fall under art (not in the journo sense, but expression) where depiction was always allowed. it was retarded from the start, just took a while for someone do to something about it.
here's some history and more information if anyone's curious:

Since they added Gi Joe in Cold War, could they at least do Hollywood actresses from that era? I would gladly pay money for a Hedi Lamarr skin. This is to be expected at this point. Advanced movement was cool as fuck but was sacrificed on the altar of the retard horde that doesn't know what it wantsGetting BFV vibes from Vanguard so far which is not a good sign.
I'm just tired of WW2 shit. If it was going to be a grittier, darker take like WAW, then maybe I'd be interested. But you just know it's going to be sanitized, hollywoodified trash like WWII was.
Frankly I think I'd be more interested in an Advanced Warfare 2 than yet another WW2 game, but I guess I'm in the minority that actually kind of liked that game.
No, it just means they won't try to make the content with windows 7 in mind, so any windows 7 specific issues won't be fixed.lol wut?
So like...they just won't release content if you use Windows 7 after September? Which means you just don't get Season 6?
Advanced movement doesn't work well with CoD. It feels like a gimmick when it only works at very specific moments. The maps are very rigged as well. You can't wall run everything in Black Ops III/Infinite Warfare. There are invisible walls in Advanced Warfare and death barriers. You can't boost jump that high.Advanced movement was cool as fuck but was sacrificed on the altar of the retard horde that doesn't know what it wants
I want an Infinite Warfare 2, tbh. Since we're in the "next gen", they could finally add vehicles, big maps, space fights, etc. I would have loved to see ship to ship battles in various places in the Sol system.Frankly I think I'd be more interested in an Advanced Warfare 2 than yet another WW2 game, but I guess I'm in the minority that actually kind of liked that game.
tell me about it, I want more infinite warfare, anything, and that's even more unlikely...Frankly I think I'd be more interested in an Advanced Warfare 2 than yet another WW2 game, but I guess I'm in the minority that actually kind of liked that game.
seamingless taking off and space flight alone blew my mind considering it's still the same corridor-shooter engine.I want an Infinite Warfare 2, tbh. wasn't really an issue in IW imo, and I came from titanfall.Advanced movement doesn't work well with CoD. It feels like a gimmick when it only works at very specific moments. It'll be one in the sense of it being another game set in WWII. As for being a continuation of the story, very doubtful since that game's squad fought to the end of the war. Unless they have some North Africa missions featuring Pierson (an insight into what happened at Kassarine Pass), this will probably be its own beast. Will Vanguard be a direct sequel to WWII? Could that work with a World War II game?
